So I have heard that this game has all sorts of bugs and performance issues. I seem to have been lucky enough to miss these until now.

My net has gone down and according to my ISp will be down for days. I thought great now I can catch up on my offline games like assassin creed and far cry.

But when ever I go to accept a mission I have to stand there for 2-5 mins before the acceptance screen appears. Or in some cases it wouldn't appear at all.

Does assassin creed have some sort of piracy system where if it can't verify your game it slows you down? Or is it just checking for an Internet connection before each mission and then timing out?

It's starting to really annoy me. Probably more because I don't have Internet for a few days and I need that for like everything I do nowadays.

Any suggestions?

I used to get the this mission is hard go get more gear message and thought it was preventing me from doing missions until I sone how turned the 5k money I had into 125k gear. I just happened to stand on the mission giver for a few mins and it popped up.

Note: I do not own AC: U....or a PS4....

I'm spit-balling based on my troubles with The Walking Dead on my 360 when the networks went down (and I'm assuming you are running into the same issue that I am).

The system is trying to get online but it's obviously going to fail at that since you don't have internet. When I tried to get onto Walking Dead, it would just spin it's wheels because it wasn't smart enough to realize it was stuck and I could never get anywhere. Unfortunately, there's no way to tell it to stop doing that on the system so you're forced to manually do it.

Try to unplug your system from the internet.

That's what got my stuff to work since it will fail immediately and stop trying. Hope that works.

Have you booted the game before and downloaded the patches? AC Unity requires some pretty critical patches to run properly(the latest one being a hefty 8GB in size :p). If you didn't that probably explains the issues you have with the game. Other than some u-play side-content the game should be able to play offline.
