ASSASSin's creed 2 ads

I created an account here specifically to say how absolutely sick of the Assasin's Creed 2 ads I am.

I don't own a 360 or any console that will play Assassin's Creed 2.

I don't own and never played Assassin's Creed 1.

I'm not going to buy the damn game, especially after having to look at the stupid ads EVERY time I go to watch a video.

I hope the game crashes and burns and loses a heaping barrel of money and causes whatever company made it and paid for those ads to go out of business, subsequently dragging the marketing exec or advertising agency down with them, so that I never have to hear another peep out of their fetid advertising mouthholes ever again.

Forget this. I'm gone until that game is long forgotten and the ads are nowhere to be seen.

God. Damn.

Apparently my initial post wasn't clear:

Every video I watch now has the same Assassin's creed 2 ad (With one of four or so dead people) preceding it with no way to skip or make it stop, no matter how many times it plays, or that I am not interested in it.

As such, I am no longer going to patronize the Escapist's site or click on any of the -other- ads that may have interested me.

I wanted someone responsible for managing this site to know that this particular advertising strategy has driven away a previously-enthusiastic customer.

That was pretty pointless. I don't get ads, since I live in Norway, but I bet there have been massive amounts of MW2 ads these past weeks. Are you sick of those as well?

On topic: I haven't seen any adverts for Assassin's Creed 2, at least not on the TV. The teaser adverts that I've seen online however look fairly promising.

I might be a bit bias though, I'm a huge fan of the first game.

I think they are going for the Godzilla commercial type and hoping to just show us or tell us something about it then it keeps us up at night until we cave and check it out... Although I think this fails and is just really....REALLY weird...

You are either a fail troll or just a fail. You do know that those ads are what help keep the Escapist running right? Its only about 5 seconds long, the ones for other games have been 15-30 seconds at times. They ran the ads for Conduit, AC2, and many others because it brings in revenue. So stop your whining and deal with it in a civilized manner, dont act like a childish snob.

We don't like flaming, spamming, and trolling on this site - I do believe your all 3.

Also, I've never seen an advert of AC2 on this site, ever - thats including with the video's and whatnot.

Besides, AC2 is going to be an awesome game, so why bother hating it? This website needs to make profit, and if that means having unskippable ads, so be it.
