Assassins Creed 2

Assassins Creed 2 will be set in 15th century Italy (1476) and you will play as Ezio, a privileged young noble in Renaissance Italy, not Altair. Ezio was betrayed by the rival ruling families and sets out for revenge. Ezio's full name is Ezio Auditore de Firenze which translates into "The All Seeing And All Hearing Eagle of Florence".


In Assassins Creed 2 you will be able to swim under water and even drag guards to the watery graves if you can hold your breath. You will also be able to fly using Leonardo DaVinci's flying machine.

It really annoys me that some people are surprised that Altair wouldn't feature in the second game, of course he wouldn't, it was blatantly obvious from the first game. If they kept Altair, then they'd have to keep the same location and era and then it'd be the same game again.
Anyways, now that's off my chest, I'm really looking forward to this, the first game had a lot of potential but didn't quite use it all, I'm hoping this uses a little bit more of it.

cant wait for the game, i was hoping youd kind of get to play in modern times and resolve the story a little bit, but this still sounds awesome. Hopefully the developers learn from their mistake in the first game and speed it up a little and add a little more variety

The only bad thing about the first game in my opinion was the cut scenes that went for ever and you couldn't skip... Made for a good toilet break though =P

The only bad thing about the first game in my opinion was the cut scenes that went for ever and you couldn't skip... Made for a good toilet break though =P

The cutscene before the secind last assasination was my favourite moment.

I didn't listen to a thing that was said.

The last goon I had dispatched had glicthed in his death. He was lying on the ground with his hand under his robe twitching.

How was I meant to listen to storyline when theres a crusader jacking off behind him?!?

As long as this game focuses more on the Assasinations rather than the side questions to gain information (or at least make these more\varied fun to play) this game will easily be a must buy.
