So why does it matter that we're killing British in this game but its okay for us to go around slaughtering other people in other games?
Yeah I know about them. My friend always goes on about he learnt a bunch of stuff about Europe and the Renaissance so maybe it will help. To be fair, making the focus on independence is probably the easier, safer and more relatable? route rather than money. I know I'd feel a little more passionate about something if it was about independence rather than taxes but that's just me.worldruler8 said:Depends on what you like. I liked the cosmopolitan views that Ubisoft did in their previous AC games. I assume you know about the Assassin's Creed series? but yeah, I'm not sure if this is going to be grey vs. grey or not. seems that they forget the main reason the independence happened was for taxes, not independence.Nouw said:Aaah okay, thanks for clearing that up. I'm assuming I shouldn't play this game if I want to further learn about this time in history?worldruler8 said:historical snip
Do you think they were going to release a trailer on the 4th of fuck yeah america! july where you see americans as the bad guys?Daystar Clarion said:Nice to see that they're still showing both sides of the conflict.
/sarcasm.
its just a trailer...a 4th of july trailer as wellKhanht Cope said:So, this marketing campaign totally lives up to their nonsense about this being an Assassin's Creed story and not a Revolution story. Their series premise that the animus shows 'history as it really was' is looking lol-tastically ironic.
Up yours, Ubisoft.
