Check out Pirates of the Burning Sea. its Free to play MMO
If u play as a pirate you can board and steal ships. If you stick with the game, the late game ships are 90+ gun First Rate ships of the line. a 45 gun broadside is probably the most awesome thing ever.
Then there is Napoleon/Empire Total War. If you have a powerful PC, you can watch the mayhem in all its glorious detail.
OT:
I am desperate to play AC3 right now! It comes out today on PC. I can't wait to play this part of the game!
