I actually can't imagine how a series like AC can implement multiplayer. I'm intruigued by its potential and it looks awesome in the previews (however, MGO also looked a lot more awesome than it actually was in previews). For those who've played it, how does it work? Is it any good? Is it worth buying the game?

i only played a little bit so far but i had an absolute blast in my first game. its no E-sport but i just love how unique it is and how its still technically tied to the main story line
I bought it just for the single player campaign but i gave the multiplayer a try last night and it was the best multiplayer i have played ever. My favorite thing about it is I am much less frustrated when I die than on Call of Duty or Battlefield because kills are a result of careful movement and planing as opposed to blind luck
My mind was blown, the first time I played a multiplayer match. It is intense as fuck. It's damn epic when your hiding from an enemy assassin, you're constantly looking around you. It's definitely awesome. Oh and keeping up with the bro stuff, you should definitely get it brah. It may be better than bromance.
I think it's cool. It makes me think about bro-fisting as Assassin. OP: The multiplayer is quite unique. I like it very much, but it can be slightly frustrating at times.AjimboB said:

My expierience in multiplayer hasn't been as intense as other people have said, but it was still fun. Any problems I had with it were probably due to the cold I had.
I'm level 35 and I'm still not bored. I feel a certain rush when I'm about to get my target. It feels more rewarding winning depending on how you killed than winning because of how much you've killed.thebridgetroll said:

Requires a lot of psychology, and there are so many different strategy possibilities that none are overpowered. HIGHLY recommended.

Also-the multiplayer is amazing. One person is the assasination target, and everyone plus the target is dressed as civvies with no names. If you act like a civilian, it is impossible to tell between the two. It's the best multiplayer I've played in a long time.
I am loving the multiplayer. More so the regular version and not the team one. I just find it very hard to not get killed in the "I'm the target" part of the team one. I had more luck hiding on roof edges, at least that way I can tell if someone is coming for me.
