K so i started playing it on christmas and im enjoying myself alot. I have two questions. my first question is can i keep playing after the main story to get all the things i didnt get. And second is do i have to go back into the diff sequences without the stuff i got later to comp them?

no i meant if i decide to go back an get 100% on all the different missions do i loose all the gear i obtained progressing through the game?

Huuh... Didn't check that in the game... But I think you will have all your gear

As I recall you lose equipment that could remove the challenge (for instance: the parachute in a level where you need to keep from falling and losing health) from that particular level (I'm thinking of the key-quests).
