So, about 2-3 days ago I finished AC: Brotherhood, and the ending, as it has always in this series, ended with another cliffhanger. So, community of the escapist, what did you think of it? Are you pissed off, or are you like me, and just think "Oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy I can't wait for Ac:3!"?

It was quite lol but a bit bullshit as you could just not press the stick forward or not hit the prompt to stab her so i didn't feel like control had been taken away from me.

Also WHY DO I HAVE TO SIT THROUGH THE CREDITS TO GET MY CHEEVO'?!

Yeah, with the having to actually move yourself, it felt like I was still in control, but it could have been cooler if holding the stick back had slowed your progress. (Only slowed not stopped, so killing Lucy would have been an inevitability.)

The only thing I'm concerned about is whether Rebecca and Shaun return in the next game. Desmond and Lucy are both too uninteresting for me to care about their love subplot. However, I had grown to really like Rebecca and Shaun by the end of the game. If they get replaced or just don't show up I'm gonna be pissed

It was slightly below the "Shepherd kills Roach and Ghost" amount of confusing.

The game was fairly sub-par once you got the piece of eden, in my opinion. Although the final battle was kind of cool, despite taking forever.

It was unexpected that's for sure. I've heard some people say it had to do with what subject 16 says about Eve. Maybe Desmond had to kill Lucy to prevent them from being together? Who knows, but I am looking forward to the next game.

I literally just beat it about 5 minutes ago... Not really sure how to react to the ending. Maybe I can react to it once I figure out what the hell happened.

Did anyone else hear that dioglouge during the credits? Here, I'll find a video.

Here it is. The dialog starts exactly one minute in. My personal theory? Desmond has actually been in an Animus the entire time, and has never left. Also, it's not actually 2012, more like 13 or 14, and the sun has already done it's thing. Minerva and

Subject 16, or Robo-16 or whatever...By the way, how bout that "Truth" bot huh? Pretty creepy stuff...Any Minerva and Subject 16...
I can probably find clips of that, too if you want...

Have both said stuff that might hint towards a plot twist of this nature.

I honestly think that it wasnt the real Lucy... My reasoning is that Subject 16 says that "she isn't who you think she is" and Minerva says "she isnt here". Also, if you were regularly exiting the animus you would notice that Lucy dissapears for a few segments, and cannot be found anywhere. Now Im not sure but all of that lead me to believe that the Lucy we killed is an imposter. Not too sure on that though...

yeah i was like what the fuck as well, however i am now really excited for assassins creed 3 because i want to know what the hell is going on, when you think about it, at the end of brotherhood you still dont know much more about whats going on than you did at the end of the first game, im hoping the 3rd game will tie up everything nicely, cus if it doesnt and it turns out theres Assassins creed 4, i will burn something =P Say what you will about ubisoft, but they know how to keep a guy interested

I never considered that lucy was an imposter, maybe it has something to do with the footprints outside the villa? I always wondered if there was something behind those

Also an interesting theory, i was wondering if desmond was actually in the animus the whole time as well, or maybe it could be his son thats being forced to relive his fathers memories of the time he spent in the animus, that could lead to some interesting bleeding effect stuff, what happens if you experience living someones memories, while they themselves are reliving another memory?

Yes, oh so very much. I love Shaun and his dry wit and Rebecca has more to her than she's letting on. Desmond's okay, he seems quite confused in it all and is starting to become better I think. But fuck Lucy, I hate her and I'm glad she got shanked.

My theory? You all remember the girl from the second game that you chased as Altair? Yeah, she's Eve. You spend your time as Desmond looking for her and your time in the Animus as her assassinating people in what is currently rumoured to be World War 2 Europe. This is built from what Subject 16's Truths and what Minerva said at the end game. Then the WW2 era Europe is from Ubisoft rumours.

If I do say so myself, it's a theory that is more likely to be right than any other. The thing that I think is likely to change is the era. It's a good era but guns might throw it off. The era would also fit the plot, like having to find her family while dealing with the Templars.

EDIT: OT: I thought the ending was fucking amazing. I was sick of Lucy and I love these 'those who came before' endings more and more each time. They have so much mystery and I want to know what happened to Subject 16 and what he'll be doing in the next Assassin's Creed.

That was just bullshit.

And to be fair, it was a LOOOOOOONG way below the "Numbers being just there as some way of making you try to kill JFK" thing from BlOps.

I mean, WTF?

Anyway, yeah, no, I want AC3.

I didn't press [], damnit!

WHY DID YOU ASSASSINATE?!

Anyway, this proves that Minerva, and her race, still have influence after death. Seeing as Desmond was forced into doing it, and the Piece of Eden itself made him do it. Not Shaun or Rebecca wielding it or anything.

I thought that was pretty easy to get.
And this just makes me want a new ancestor. Regardless of ending Ezio is boring me now.

all i know is, that in the event that AC:3 is set in WW2, than I will both laugh untill it hurts, and cry untill I can drown a hamster with my tears if you get to kill or atleast see dur fureur (hitler)

Oh! and is anyone else wondering why at the last sequence, you can only log into your email account, but not rebecca's, Shaun's, or Lucy's?

AC:2 Brotherhood??

Lol what does this have to do with the question? Great video but it has nothing to do with the question.

As for my answer, the thing I didn't understand was during the Truth if I remember correctly Subject 16 said not to trust her, did he mean Minerva or Lucy. The ending was a bit confusing but they are dealing with a deadly ancient artifact here, it was kind of expected that something sinister would happen. =o
