Meh. I'm not worried, mostly just embarrassed... My eagerness to respond to something that I found interesting got the best of me here, and I'm sure this isn't the first time some one forgot to look at the thread dates.

I guess it's time to let this thread go back to sleep though. Thanks for being cool about it!

Good review here short sweet and to the point and it was also nicely detailed and fun to read. It makes me want to put reviews of my own back up here again as soon as i cure this disease i have called laziness

Great review, really sums it up. Personally I liked asscreed 1 better even when it messed its pants at the end by making you fight horde after horde of people with unblockable attacks like it was god of war or something. Yes the investigations are tedious and boring but you really felt like you were stalking your prey. Also the asscreed 2 gun is just unfair; I was able to finish all the assassination contracts easily and earn loads of cash thus all challenge left the game( as if it wasn't easy enough)

As I am playing the 360 version of this game, I find myself less and less interested in the story as it continues. I am glad it is less linear than the first game since it lets me run around and skirt the story to make some money and kill guards and those annoying dicks with lutes. I can't tell you how many times I've just stabbed them straight in the gut as soon as they start skipping over to get in my way and hump my leg. Why should I throw out coins to distract the jerk when I can just disembowel the dingleberry? Chasing mailmen is another past time I am getting fond of just for the rooftop chases just before I get the high road and then get a jumping assassination on him. Never hurts to be on his tail and a guard or two joins the chase, kill'em all and let gravity sort them out as they slide off the roof.
The story is just boring enough for me that I don't care. I'm not too hot on the races either because with the way the camera shifts around, it makes it hard to control the parkour. I've tried running from guards, swinging on a potted plant around a corner and the camera lags so that when I land and go to scale a wall, genius jumps down from where he lands and starts running towards the camera (with basically no life left after jumping down from four or ten stories). More fun to run around, complete a few missions to unlock equipment, then go on a guard-killing streak for a while. It is also nice you can buy the treasure maps from art dealers as well!

I really liked this game but the lack of replay vaule really lowered my veiw on it, all in all a good game. defeniatly has the best credits of any game iv'e ever played but the thing in the vault was a pretty weak punchline for such big build up.
