Why do you immediately assume that? They emphasized in the notes they released that it was going to be a very grey issue, with good guys and bad guys on each side.
Plus, it's a videogame dealing with the Brits from the 1700s. No one would really call them the "good guys" back then. Cool your American hatred for a second there and wait till you see more about the game.
Ah, I just got done reading the notes DPeteD posted, they emphasis that it won't be one-sided either way. I had't seen that before I watched the video, and the trailer seemed to portray the exact opposite.
I wasn't calling the Brits the good guys (cause they almost certainly weren't) I was saying that I was hoping it just wouldn't have painted the Brits as absolute villains with no redeeming qualities and the Americans as the absolute heroes, which is never true in history, and would be a disappointing step for a game series which has pulled this off reasonably well in the previous installments.

The assassin is a Native American...whose going to be doing killing on both sides.
And if what I heard is true, Washington is a Templar with a Piece of Eden.
So not entirely sure how that makes the Americans the good guys when their leader is brainwashing them. And like it or not, the Brits were sort of dicks back then, so...
That's a pretty cool twist actually, unfortunately none of that came across in the trailer which seemed to have all the moral sublety of Killzone 3 (I was half expecting the Twin Hitlers to walk out of the trees wearing redcoats)
Now that's cleared up lets get on to the important issues: Should we rename "Freerunning" to "Treerunning"?
