So i've been looking for an answer on this.

So in Brotherhood the whole adventure is to find the Piece of Eden in the future, but this was supoused to be destroyed in Denver.

But Desmond never ask something on the subject or something...

Can anyone explain this to me? Is a scrip error? or are we just supouse to think Lucy lied to Desmond about the Piece that was destroyed in Denver? If so why the hell was Abstergo looking for another in Desmond DNA? But in Brotherhood we see that same Piece under de Colosseum.

Does anyone have an answer to this?

I know there's more than one pice of eden, but in the game we've only seen one, the one Altair had is the same Ezio had, and that one was suposed to be destroyed in Denver in the present(near future) day, but in Brotherhood, Desmond find it under the Colosseum.

In AC1 Lucy said the Templars had Masyaf piece (refering to Al-Mualim/Altair piece) but it was destroyed in Denver airport, thats why Desmond was forced into the Animus in the first place, to find another piece to replace it.

But Altair left that Piece in Cyprus, and Ezio retrieved it in AC2, and in Brotherhood Ezio left it under the Colosseum, and it was still there in 2012 when Desmond find it, so that means it wasn't destroyed and the templars never had it.

Well we didn't follow Altair until he died so there is a chance that he came across another piece at some point. The new game supposedly allows the player to control Altair, Ezzio, and Desmond, so perhaps they will explain that.

There are several different pieces of Eden.

They said they found one but it was destroyed in Denver - the map at the end of AC reveals the rest. The one you hunt throughout the games is one of the last surviving ones.

This, and it is never explicedly mentioned that the piece of Eden Ezio and Altair had is the same, it is possible that by the time Altair died he had a whole closet full of pieces of Eden.

There are a couple of pieces of Eden. I'm pretty sure that the map at the end of Assassin's Creed 1 was the locations of pieces of Eden, so there are probably at least 15 or so.

Yes! I want to see that in the new game. Altair going to his closet and deciding which ancient piece of technology would match his outfit for the day. It'd be fantastic.

I've already said that I know that, i'm really into the story that's why i'm asking this.

That's what I hope, if they don't explain this i'll be very disapointed...
I hope it's not an scrip error, it's so big that it can't be, but i got a bad feeling...

Yeah, I would love to dual-wield pieces of Eden. Maybe strap some to my feet too.

I think you may be right. They can easily explain it away by saying it's just another piece of Eden but well spotted, I think they did slip up a little there.
The Apple in ACII is Altair's one. I can't remember if it is supposed to be the same one in Brotherhood or another one though.

yes if it's an error, it can be explained, but there are to many holes...

In AC1 Lucy said the Templars had Masyaf piece. So we're supoused to think they're talking of Altair's Piece

I can deal with minor holes like that. What I can't deal with was the reveal in ACII of what the big 2012 disaster was going to be. A solar flare? That's it? Christ. It almost killed the franchise for me, I'm so grateful it wasn't mentioned even once in Brotherhood.

You're telling me this minor? if is an error, AC1 would have no sense... and so the whole story of the series. I can deal with the fact that it's a ridiculous story for some people, but at least it should make sense, more here than anywere else, this serie got a big story they can't let it be ruined for something like this.

Yeah they did. In AC1, when Desmond is talking to Lucy,he says that it looks like that piece of Eden is still in Masyaf, but she says that they already found that one, but it was destroyed in Denver.
