Specificly, it's the end of Ezio and Altair's story, except maybe some name drops and story elements. Other than that, Ezio and Altair are no longer the focus. Two routes can be taken: The first and most likely is that Desmond will finally DO something in these games besides sit on his fat ass and watch OTHER people be assassins.
