so the game is coming out in november, what do you wish or do not wish to se in the new game?
for me, the appeal of AC was always limited at the choices you have when you carry out an assassination. it was alright in the first game but it just failed in the next 2. even though the game hints at you that guards change shifts at dusk and dawn, and askes that we plan missions accordingly, i never find myself using it. maybe for freedom in this area? also hopefully combat would be improved( seriously? over 300 kinds of bombs?)

to be honest...i wish it didn't exist.
don't get me wrong, i looooooooooooove assassin's creed, but seriously... ezio? again?! fair enough, we all love ezio, oh but if he wasn't old enough already in revelations to prove that nobody learned ANYTHING from metal gear solid 4, there's even a little ugly short film in the special edition following ezio when he's literally going to die fo old age any day now.
not that i'm not a bi curious as to the "revelations" but...yeah, i'm not as excited for it as i have been for previous instalments.
but by all means i'd like to see more of a focus on stealth, less of a focus on getting your recruits to do all the work for you. and for god's sake, i want an enemy leader who actually feels like a propper templar! not like bloody cesare, he would have defeated himself eventually if ezio had just sat around eating lasagna
I didn't mind him but in all honesty i hoped that AC 3 would be the last one. Like they didn't release Brotherhood and instead of working on Revelations they were working on Making Desmond the main character. A modern Day assassins creed could have some ridiculously awesome new gameplay mechanics but instead we get Ezio....again.
I think they said that Reveleatins is the last game with Ezio.

I Can't wait untill it comes :)

I was extremely excited for Assassin's Creed 1, moderately excited for 2 since I loved the first one so much. Depressed when they announced brotherhood. Now I'm indifferent to Revelations. I will likely play it at some point and will enjoy it, same as brotherhood. However I'm not as big a fan for the series as I was at the beginning.

I hate Tobuscus but love his Literal trailers. How does that work?

As for what I want in AC:R? A PROPER ENDING. If they have another pointless Cliffhanger.....I can't be held responsible for what I'm gonna do to Ubisoft.

I love all of the Assassin's Creed games, but I hope they do something radically different with the setting and characters for AC5. The Ezio/Italy thing is getting a little boring.

Why do I keep thinking they missed a trick for the transition from Brotherhood to Revelations. They had Ezio training up new assassins. Have the first one he recruits to be fixed, and have him/her become Ezio's protege. Incapacitate Ezio towards the end of Brotherhood, new assassin becomes player character and protagonist in Revelations. Ezio was born in about 1460... so he's an old fogey when he gets to Istanbul. Why couldn't we get a young fresh-faced idiot for whom there is actual merit in developing?

Don't worry about that, we're getting some Ottoman architecture in Revs. (Though admittedly, I agree, two games of Ezio was enough... let's have a German assassin!)

I don't mind it being dragged out a little with Ezio. I figure it doesn't matter terribly that the protagonist doesn't change - he wasn't terribly interesting to begin with. The new setting/plot/gameplay will suffice. And yeah, the bloody cliffhangers feel a little cheap, but they are effective and I'm genuinely fascinated to see how they tie up all the loose ends. They better do it right.

Look, i`m real fanof the series, so, if u guys don`t wanna read it or something it`s alright. I don`t care wich one is the main character, the intresting is visiting new ages thinking like if there were a conspiracy envolve, waste a few moments to think about the game`s secrets. About the loose ends, I agree. It`s a littlebit annoying to throw everything to the air and let to explain on the 4th game. U can`t look at this game like u look at CoD.

I'm surprised to see so many negative comments. I, for one, cannot wait until it comes out. I was sad when I heard Brotherhood would be the last game about Ezio. Things were left far too open ended for Ezio. When did he get a love interest, how did he build the brotherhood past Roma? I think it's awesome they are extending the series, there is far too much in this universe to have it been sufficiently filled out in just a trilogy.

Think about it, we get to see a character literally from birth until death, their entire life, right before our eyes. It's amazing.

Though even moreso, how could you say it "worked in AC, but failed in 2"? AC was TERRIBLE in comparison to two. I have multiple friends who refused to play 2 for the longest time because of how tedious AC was. Once they tried 2 though, they got hooked. AC2 was literally a perfect game in my opinion.

Can't wait for Revelations.

Ezio has had literally no closure, and the story of this game sound sbetter than that of all past Ezio games, not to mention it wraps up Altair's story too, and it set to reveal what the HECK is going on, and what Desmond needs to do. The new gameplay mechanics look amazing, and Ezio is old and grizzled enough to pass as a different character, if you really need him too, not to mention the drastically different setting.

This will be an awesome game, expecially since they have a much bigger dev team owrking on it than they had on Brotherhood.

I like the idea of the Constantinople setting for this one, but I want to kill Ottomans, not Byzantine remnants. Seeing the Varangians being slaughtered in that trailer was depressing.

Do I wish Ubisoft would transition to a new time period and ancestor, or just go to the modern era? Yes. Will I still buy this game and play the pants off it? Yes.

At least we're out of Italy. It's sorta different.

Revelations will be the first AC I buy full-price at launch. 1 came free with my graphics card, the others I got cheap and late. But I'm falling madly in love with the series, and Istanbul is a great plus.

Do we know if we actually spend significant time there? Cuz in the E3 demo Ezio was leaving :-s
