Nice to see the new Assassin is a sans-culottes -- to be expected of course, although, there are too many people wearing trousers, not enough bourgeoisie and bourgeoisie-supporters shown in what's shown thus far. I wonder if they're going to go for the bastardized version of history like in ACII where Rodrigo Borgia was the tyrant pope, see: Man in The Iron Mask version Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette version of, well, Marie Antoinette or if they'll they'll go the historically accurate route seen in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. It'll certainly be interesting to hear Ubisoft's version of what really happened, that being Louis passing laws that benefited the poor over the rich in an attempt to end what was essentially great poverty and famine and finally end the 7 years war that plagued his inheritance by finally defeating England.
Louis loved his people and wanted to good for them, he reinstated the parlements ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parlement ), passed the "Edict of Versailles", basically saying no can be prosecuted/executed for their choice in religions.
"It granted non-Catholics - Calvinist Huguenots, Lutherans, as well as Jews - civil and legal status in France, and gave them the right to openly practice their faiths" - wiki.
Shame he managed to piss off the bourgeoisie so much, as well as being soft-spoken and indecisive therefore appearing weak, or he may have gone down as a greater leader than his grandfather.
Needless to say, I can't wait to storm the Bastille.
