Assemble an ultimate team...of villains.

I was over in the 90 millionth "Ultimate Team" thread, where you take 4 characters from videogames and put them together to make the ultimate team crime fighting/zombie surviving/whatever. And I was thinking...Why hasn't someone done this for villains? I mean, I'm sure someone has, but I've never seen it, so here goes...Ultimate Team of Evil.

Pick...I'll say 6 fictional, evil characters to join together and...I don't know. Conquer the universe or whatever. Doesn't have to be from videogames, you can take 'em from movies, TV, books...Whatever you want. They don't even have to be the "main villains", they might just be bad people. Stretch the definition of "villain" as far as you want. Although I guess I'll say that it has to a specific character, not an army or a race or anything like that. So you can't have a single member be, for example, "The Orcs, from LOTR" or something. Single characters.

So....I guess that'll do it. I'll start:

-Sovereign, Mass Effect.
-The Dalek Emperor, Dr. Who
-Glados, Portal
-The Master, Dr. Who
-Ko, that face-stealing spirit from Avatar: The Last Airbender
-Lucifer, Supernatural

Your turn. Go.

1. The Protagonist. Money, power, stripper poles. What's not to like? Aside from pimping out the HQ out with a banging purple theme, he's got develish good looks and an entire gang at his fingertips as pawns. (Saints Row)
2. Selvaria Bles. Not only is she a good tactician, a loyal leader and a strategic fighter, but she's a freaking Valkyrur Witch. Nuff said. (Valkyria Chronicles)
3. Raditz. Why Raditz you say, why this low class Saiyan warrior you ask? Taking his Saiyan abilities as a given he's got bitchin' hair. (Dragon Ball Z)
4. Opal Koboi. A megalomaniacal Pixie with a brilliant and inventive mind. Yes, they'll be needing some spiffy gadgets and I'm pretty sure that Opal's twisted mind is perfect for producing them. (Artemis Fowl)
5. Greed/Ling. Nothing says badass like this duality. I get two people in one arguing for control, but when they do work together they're awesomely powerful and durable. (Full Metal Alchemist)
6. Deathstroke/Slade. Just for general wet work and added flair to the team. (Teen Titans)

Haha... that's a dysfunctional bunch of villains...

These guys... as villains? They aren't villains, at all. And, before "anypony" tries to say it, Discord was certainly no villain, either. Same with Lex Luthor and Magneto.

Dr. Robotnik
Arch-nemesis to a certain blue hedgehog we all know and... well, some love and some despise. He was at his peak in the DreamCast days. Particularity, Sonic Adventure 2. Back then, he was just brutal and more fleshed-out than he's ever been before.
The Joker
No, not "Joker" from Mass Effect! Shut up, already! There have been so many incarnations of The Joker, I just couldn't tell you which version might work better. Let's just go with the general concept of "Joker" and leave all the Batman fans happy.
Count Dracula
Not necessarily the version found in CastleVania or The Batman. Just the old legend... Well, truthfully, the actual historical figure wasn't a vampire, so, the old myth, then.
Van Kleiss
This guy has been set up so well, and has been becoming more and more interesting in the recent episodes of Generator Rex. Plus, he can turn just about any living thing into an EVO, provided he's got some nanites.
Alex Mercer
I'm going to go this route. There was no need to go all terrorist-assassin like that in [Prototype], just to find out what was going on.
Duke Nukem
He is no hero, and I just know he would turn on us all, someday... Just needs the right alien bribe. However, I think there is one hero who could stand against him and stand for us... leaving us all totally "gar": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTbwOukQlDY

Ling, maybe not, but Greed is/was most definitely an antagonist without Ling acting as a conscience every now and then. He's certainly more of a villain than Alex Mercer.

1. Venom. Because, well, it's Venom.
2. Abaddon the Despoiler. Come on, he's a fracking Chaos Warmaster.
3. Nagash. The most powerful Necromancer to ever walk the face of Warhammer ... plus he comes with free undead army.
4. Pinky....
5. Brain.... - Because sooner or later they have to take over the world.

How was Greed a villain? I just don't get this mentality. He was a hero! Alex Mercer is a murderer who never rationalized his actions. He never looked for any simpler, less evil methods of finding out what was going on and who was responsible, despite the fact they were easier and more obvious.

Alex Mercer, Prototype
Galactus, Marvel universe
Harbinger, Mass Effect (Cause he's more evil than Sovereign)
Gideon, Scott Pilgrim (Graphic Novel, not movie)
Moot, 4Chan (PURE EVILLLLLLLLL)
The guy who wrote the ending to ME3

I believe this is evil enough.

1. Unicron
2. Sovereign

And that's pretty much job done. Sovereign is Unicron's sidekick, and if Sovereign needs its own sidekick it can indoctrinate some. I don't think you can set much up that can pose a threat to the planet-eating, planet-sized transformer.

Even in the final chapters in the face off against Father, Greed is still obsessing over power as he proclaims that he wants to be a God himself. We even find out that all he really wanted was friends, but throughout the entire time he posessed Ling the only time he gave any indication of this was after he kills Bido and even then Ling has to tell him why why he did was so wrong. The only reason he helped take down Father was to stick it to his old man.

As for Alex Mercer starts his path of the destruction under the belief that he has somehow been infected with Blacklight. After he sees what Blackwatch are doing his first thoughts are to make sure his sister and girlfriend are okay. So after he believes himself to be an experiment gone wrong, gets caught in a trap laid for him in his apartment and then betrayed by his girlfriend, I'd say his reaction is pretty rational. Add all this in with the fact that he's being misled by Cross and it's pretty easy to see his rationale.

S'all I'm sayin, although the suit is nice.
Yeah... but he's kinda missing those fighting chops that Ling brought to the table.

Like how Greed is so easily subdued by Wrath, but with Ling's tactical expertise he fares a bit better. But yeah, that's a bitchin coat he's got.

I'd really have to say that Glados would be a bad choice seeing as how she'll just kill everyone else on your team plus the fact that she just wants to run tests.

Wesker - I'd have to put a leash on him or tell him to stay the hell away from Chris. That, as well as have a very powerful henchmen next to him at all times to give him his meds.
Bowser - Bowser's ability to quickly conquer everything with Wesker's ineptitude to conquer everything would be balanced by Bowser's incompetence with minion handling and Wesker's OP minions.
Magneto - Magneto would be a perfect captain on the field to rally the minions and keep up morale.
Sephiroth - The pseudo-immortality would be great for front line combat, and combined with Magneto's field planning and command (something Sephiroth is horrible at), the field troops would be unstoppable.
Ganondorf - I would have to remind Ganondorf that he needs Bowser's minions, Wesker's minions, and has to share power with everyone, if he wants to have any hope of retaining power for himself. Also, to hide his fucking weak spots.
Queen Mirrah - She would be a perfect overlord of all the other henchmen as well as a fantastic beacon of awesomeness for all the soldiers. She is not power-hungry enough to back stab anyone, and she would be menacing enough to threaten them to do what they are supposed to do.

1. Alex (Golden Sun): He's manipulative, powerful, and intelligent. One of the things I always liked about him is that he didn't do things that screamed "I'm EVIL". He was subtle, and would rather befriend someone to further his goals than kill them. He'd still kill people without a second thought otherwise.

2. HK-47 (KoTOR 1 and 2): Yes, in the games, he wasn't a "bad guy", but he definitely had the makings of being a cool villain. Borderline psychotic, and extremely talented, HK-47's killed so many, it might take him a full day to calculate the amount of death and destruction he's caused.

3. Revan (KoTOR): This is the TRUE dark Lord of the Sith. He/she has fought through two wars, and both times has been the driving force for victory. A talented warrior and charismatic leader, the only time Revan has truly lost was when he was single-handedly battling multiple Jedi masters while being fired upon by a capitol ship, and even then he lived to fight another day.

The Adversary (Fables)- Because he is the best villain of all the villains and he can build an army in no time

The Nameless One (Planescape)- A wild card because you won't know if the next incarnation will be good or evil, but with the immortality thing, time is on your side

The Mayor (Buffy)- He'll keep up morale with his winning smile, he has lots of underworld contacts, and he can turn into a giant snake

JD McCoy (Friday Night Lights)- His persistent obnoxiousness will be a constant reminder that we're generally supposed to root against the villains.

Kraven the Hunter (Spiderman)- He'll bring some flair to the team with his bold lion vest. Plus, he's the only villain I can think of aside from Ozymandias that flat out succeeded at his goal and went out on top.

Dark Phoenix (X-men)- Because when all else fails, destroy the universe

1.Count Chocula - Yes, you read that right, CC, the sugar-infused blood addict.

2.Tony the Tiger - Because they've never let you see him on a bad day.

3.Cocoa the Bird - He's insane whether or not he's on his Coco Puffs.

4.Beebop and Rocksteady - Simply because you get both or you get neither. and watching them would be good times.

5.Agent Smith - because who wouldn't want a guy who can copy/paste himself on a villain team?

Hey, you know what gets under my skin? Proverbially, of course? A century of Wizards looking down their damn noses at me - Energy Drain!

I know people think I'm stupid. Because I'm not a wizard. Because I get bored easily. Because I have no interest in strategy or tactics or contingency planning - Energy Drain!

But see, I've learned a lot over the years since I [became a Lich]. A lot more than I learned during my life. And now I see that planning doesn't matter. Strategy doesn't matter. Only two things matter: Force in as great a concentration as you can manage, and style. And in a pinch, style can slide - Energy Drain!

In any battle, there's always a level of force against which no tactics can succeed.
... You can have your finely-crafted watch - give me the sledgehammer to the face any day.

ENERGY DRAIN!

*Xykon's opponent crumbles into dust*

Damn, that felt good.
