Whatever, just wash your hands.
Kratos and Alex Mercer, they are 2 completely overpowered individuals who are incapable of seeing what real monsters they are. They would probably spend the whole time thinking they were heroes or something.

1. Thanos
2. Davros
3. Dark Willow
4. The Nightbringer
5. Seymour Guado

Yeah, I went with the Omnicidal Maniac route, with a selection of the most powerful entities from as many diverse worlds as I could, who would also actually possibly maybe be willing to work with each other, at least temporarily (until the inevitable betrayal). I know there are probably more powerful entities out there, but I only wanted 1 from each universe and some of the people others have come up with aren't true omnicidal maniacs, or even true villains in some cases.

Let's go with the tvtropes Five Bad Band then...http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/FiveBadBand

Big Bad: The Master (Doctor Who)
Why?: The Master's a planner, the one who can manipulate people and set multi-layered plans into motion just as well as The Doctor himself. Manipulating a group of villains would be child's play, and having them protect him would make him unstoppable.

The Dragon: Darth Vader (Star Wars)
Why?: Not only is Darth Vader the ultimate second-in-command in Star Wars, he's also the page image for The Dragon (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheDragon). Powerful, ruthless, intimidating, and fiercely loyal (unless you slowly torture his son in front of him), Vader would be the nightmare no hero could stand against.

The Evil Genius: Dr. Doom (Marvel Comics)
Why?: Doom is smart. His intellect is almost the same as Reed Richards, who's capable of bending space and time so he can fit more food in the fridge. Dr. Doom challenges the entire Marvel Universe on a daily basis, outwitted a GOD to steal his power in Secret Wars, and took over the world TWICE (as well as in countless other What If? tie-ins.)

The Brute: Doomsday (DC Comics)
Why?: The Brute is big and dumb. Doomsday is brute force incarnate, becoming so popular, he has his own trope (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/GenericDoomsdayVillain). He doesn't care for morals, politics, values, plans, strategy...all he does is charge into a situation and murder everyone in a 5 mile radius. Oh, and he also killed Superman.

The Dark Chick: Kefka (Final Fantasy VI)
Why?: Although he's male, Kefka is still a "a giggling, unserious, destruction-loving maniac." While the other villains are brooding, Kefka would be laughing maniacally while staring at you with his crazed eyes and changing the pitch of his voice to spine-shivering frequencies. He's so crazy, he destroyed THE WORLD for GIGGLES. Also, I can't stop thinking about him and John Simm's The Master being in the same room.

There you have it.

David Xanatos.

We need a mastermind, especially one who tends to think big picture and little picture at the same time. We need to make sure the heroes focus is somewhere else so we can get the thing we really are after. He stages the elaborate plan just so the minor one succeeds. I would have picked Luthor, but he tends to be more one dimensional in his thinking: Get Money, Get Superman. Doctor Doom could work, but his arrogance would get in the way and he would not do what is needed for the plan. David Xanatos seems be the type to allow himself to get hurt, captured, or beaten to the point of death just so the plan works.

Domino.

We need Muscle. Not the strongest in the world, but her probability altering powers more than make up for it. .

Mystique.

We need an infiltrator. Who better than a person that can be anyone.

Justin Hammer

We need a tech guy. Hammer has Tech that rivals Tony Starke.

Joker.

Not because I need him in the team, but because its better to include him. He is the one person you don't want mad at you. He also has the same power that Batman has: His skill set and abilities change, to some extent, to fit the situation. While actual superpowers are not part of it, what he can do changed for what is needed. He is a chemist one day, show some excellent fighting skills the next, and can get around security with the best of them.

1. TIM from the ME games. Just because hey someone needs to sit in a chair and coolly give orders like a complete boss. Plus epic intelligence network and leader of a badass miltary organisation etc etc.

2. Bayonetta, she kills angels for fun. I can probably get away with adding her to a villain team on that basis alone right? Cool!

3. Doctor Doom. Because he will fly into his enemies with his heels smashing into the faces of all his foes. He likes to call this the Foot Dive.

4. The Joker for obvious reasons.

5. Manfred Von Karma of Ace Attorney fame. To make each and every one of his team untouchable by the law. Unless that pesky lawyer gets himself involved again of course...

6. Valentine from Skullgirls, for general wetwork and bodyguard stuff. She would make a good medic as long as she doesn't decide to give her team some of her "special treatment" while they're on the operating table.

Going by the Five-Bad-Band template found on TV Tropes;

Mastermind: The Illusive Man (Mass Effect 2 Version)
The Dragon: Emile Danko (Heroes)
The Evil Genius: Lex Luthor (Superman)
The Brute: The Rhino (Spiderman)
The Dark Chick: Harley Quinn (Arkham City Version)

3. Nagash. The most powerful Necromancer to ever walk the face of Warhammer ... plus he comes with free undead army.
Wow, when I saw the name I was like "Wha-a-a...?" and when I read the explanation it became clear.

It seems that other Nagash from HoMM is a homage to the Nagash from Warhammer.

As for my evil beings:

1. The Wyrm (old World of Darkness) - It used to be a natural force of the universe of destruction and undoing until it got trapped into the fabric of reality, which drove it mad and turned it into the embodiment of corruption and entropy.

...yeah, I think the Wyrm is capable of working on its own.

I was over in the 90 millionth "Ultimate Team" thread, where you take 4 characters from videogames and put them together to make the ultimate team crime fighting/zombie surviving/whatever. And I was thinking...Why hasn't someone done this for villains? I mean, I'm sure someone has, but I've never seen it, so here goes...Ultimate Team of Evil.

Pick...I'll say 6 fictional, evil characters to join together and...I don't know. Conquer the universe or whatever. Doesn't have to be from videogames, you can take 'em from movies, TV, books...Whatever you want. They don't even have to be the "main villains", they might just be bad people. Stretch the definition of "villain" as far as you want. Although I guess I'll say that it has to a specific character, not an army or a race or anything like that. So you can't have a single member be, for example, "The Orcs, from LOTR" or something. Single characters.

So....I guess that'll do it. I'll start:

-Sovereign, Mass Effect.
-The Dalek Emperor, Dr. Who
-Glados, Portal
-The Master, Dr. Who
-Ko, that face-stealing spirit from Avatar: The Last Airbender
-Lucifer, Supernatural

Your turn. Go.
Hey now, to be fair I did specifically say in my thread that "rehabilitated" villains could be used on your team! :p

As for my Doom Squad....

-Darth Revan, KotOR

-Aizen, Bleach (while I really don't like the series that much...there's no denying that when it comes to ridiculously overpowered villains, Aizen is right up there with the worst offenders)

-Kefka, the greatest Final Fantasy villain of all time.

-Kai Leng, Mass Effect.
..............BWAHAHAHAHAHA! Nope, couldn't do that with a straight face. :p
`
My real 4th choice: -Zombie Horde, a horde of zombies from any zombie movie ever.

-The Darkness, Remake of House on Haunted Hill

-Death, The Grim Reaper of ancient mythology, not necessarily a villain by himself, however the Castlevania series has turned him into one. :p

Im tempted to just list some evil gods and be done with it but thats no fun so here goes...

Nicodemus from The Dresden Files- Insanely old, insanely brilliant, insanely devious, with a fallen angel being the battery for his power and the adviser for his schemes. Hard to find a more dangerous enemy.

Lady from The Black Company- Due to Glen Cook's awesomeness, it could be debated that she is not technically a "villain"... but she totally is. See all the reasons for Nicodemus above, and then add "iron willed ruthless ruler."

Karsa Oorlong from The Malazan Book of the Fallen- Due again to author (Steven Erikson) brilliance, it can be a bit of a stretch to call him a villain... But he definitely fits the villain type in at least one way (wants to destroy all civilization). Plus, I just love Karsa. He is my Tank.

Morgoth from The Silmarillion- He may be a coward... But he also made orcs and balrogs and dragons and shit. He can make my armies.

The Shrike from Hyperion- Again, villainy can be debated. But he kills people and impales their flesh on his own spiked body. Or tree. Or temporal whatever. And he can travel through time like a boss.

I honestly only need these five... I guess I can throw The Lord Ruler in there just to round out awesome book series... but he is kinda crap and totally redundant at this point.

So yea, Morgoth makes my armies, Lady leads them, Karsa is the vanguard, Nicodemus plots and executes my black ops, the Shrike does assassinations, and the Lord Ruler handles bureaucracy and anyone who gets past those five.

Lord Anubis (Stargate SG-1) - One of the greatest emperors ever to have roamed the galaxy. Tricked ascended beings into making him immortal and supremely knowledgable, proving that he is a masterful manipulator. Extremely resourceful, ruthless, and intelligent.

Flemeth (Dragon Age) - A great and long-lived witch. As ruthless and devilish as they come.

Walton Simons (Deus Ex) - Excellent tactician. Augmented for combat and stealth.

T-1000 (Terminator 2) - A powerful nanonic life form. Has immense potential for espionage and assassination.

Jaws (James Bond) - Built like a tank. Highly intimidating.

Most, if not all, have proven survivability and just keep coming back after you try to kill them.

Loki (Avengers/Thor)- Because he's the god of trickery..and can turn into a chick to suduce men XD

Satan (Sandman Slim novels)- Because it's Satan, but in a suit and looking like Jeff bridges

Kai Leng (Mass Effect 3) - No fooling. I love this man to death

Cthulu- because...he's Cthulu

& finally..

Ian Nottingham (Witchblade/Darkness/Artifacts comics) - Mostly because he's a sword weilding baddy, and could compliment Kai's evilness.

5. Greed/Ling. Nothing says badass like this duality. I get two people in one arguing for control, but when they do work together they're awesomely powerful and durable. (Full Metal Alchemist)
Okay, maybe Greed himself, but once Ling got in he wasn't so villainous.

These guys... as villains? They aren't villains, at all. And, before "anypony" tries to say it, Discord was certainly no villain, either. Same with Lex Luthor and Magneto.
Well how about antagonists? They were certainly antagonists. Except Lex, he's 100% villain.

Your turn. Go.
Wouldn't the master and the emperor... well kill each other?
Or at least try to?

Plus Ko wasn't really a villain. He was evil. Just not a villain. I don't think being in a 4 minute segment of a show that long should constitute a villain.
(Plus i'll put 5:1 odds he doesn't come back)

OT - Although i would like to debate the term of "villain" do you mean moral villain or antagonist
Odd eye from Shining Force 2
Lashiec from Phantasy Star 4 (The hardest boss ever, i don't care what anyone says) AoE spells, a self heal/buff, and a cc (which sucks) What the dick is that
Lloyd (I know his name is terrible) from Legend of Dragoon
Arthas Terenas AKA The Lich King From Warcraft 3
Raistlin Majere (if 'villain' is morality)from the Dragonlance books. If not then Mina AKA Takhisis The 'dark' god and queen to all of the elemental dragons. Same origin

the joker : his distrucitve ablitys and knowledge of nerve gas would come in quite handy (plus the fact he has a huge gang would really help numbers)

Van Kleiss : he is really good at being menacing and can manage minions like a boss and I am sure he could keep joker and pinkie on task

9-tails: always good to have a shape shifter around and that goes double for a giant evil demon shape shifter

Alduin: because HE IS A FUCKING DRAGON

Richard (from looking for group): pretty much unkillable evil lich who enjoys setting things on fire how could I not have him on my team XD plus hes really funny

pinkie pie (the version from the cupcakes fanfic ): always handy to have someone good at torture and hiding bodys
