Ohhh snap someone fell for The Onion! Ahhh I remember my first encounter with The Onion, I didn't pay attention to the name of the website at all, just the video. It was so well-done, I believed it for a second. Yes, good times. Don't worry son it happens to the best of us.

The Onion is basically Poe's Law applied to a news website.(is there actually one of these "laws" for satire on the internet?) This [http://www.theonion.com/content/node/40081] was the first article I read on The Onion and while I didn't know what the Onion was the article ruined it a bit because the satire is too obvious.

I should have had a point in this post... oh well, the Onion is about as bad as TvTropes and Wikipedia for wasting time and making people forget what they were doing
