KoTOR that entire game was just awesome

Mass Effect right around the time I met Tali

Fallout 3 either when I heard Liam Neeson or after I saw the wasteland for the first time

Half Life 2 about the time when I got the crowbar and could run up and bludgeon people to death

And finally Portal which is one of my favorite games of all time

Most recently it was playing spec ops on Modern Warfare 2. The first moment me and my mate three starred a mission I knew it would be a long, awesome (and at times very angry) road ahead.

The same goes for any RPG or action/adventure game:
The introduction of the badass female character.
As for MMOs, when I find a class I like.
If there are no girls or classes, then I go for my favorite power-up/skill of the game.

As soon as I fought Magus I fell in love with Chrono Trigger. I think anyway as it is the most memorable part for me.
Ninja'd twice, but...

My CT love began with finally hitting 12,000 BC. I knew as soon as I got there that it'd be one of the best parts in the game, and everything about it was just, well, perfection. I loved the music so much.

Also, whaling on Master Belch in Earthbound was a whole lot of fun. Actually, everything after Onett was a masterpiece.

The first time I pulled off a double port to clear a barrier in Portal...
The first time I went on a pimp killing spree in Saints Row 2... or maybe it was when I took out my first gang general.
The first time I set up a self-clearing battledome challenge match in Ratchet & Clank Up Your Arsenal or Deadlocked...
The first time I cleared Halo 3, and again when I got a killing spree online, and again when I won my first Slayer match online...
The first time I really, really felt fear in The White Chamber...

they're all my favorites, all for different reasons. I love the crap out of all of them.

Balls, forgot about Mass Effect. I liked Tali too, but for me it was when I met the evil behind the evil (despoilered for your protection). So... disdainful.

When I realised Morrowind (My first TES) wasn't a 100% vanilla fantasy. Ok, vanilla elements, Neopoliton if you like, but chitin, glass and bonemold armour, the beast races (with digitigrade feet) and then more as I played on. Recently come back to it again and falling in love again.

Kingdom Hearts 2 - The opening song, beautiful. I'd not even played the first Kingdom Hearts, i'd on a whim gotten the second one because of trailers on the TV. But i was instantly in love with it when that opening theme played.

Assassin's Creed 2 - Between the time I'd finished the first Assassin's creed and when the trailers came out for the second one XD

The title says it all.

In Kingdom Hearts 2, I fell in love with it when Sora and Kairi reunited in The World That Never Was. A hug. That was all it took for me to become the hopeless romantic I've become today.

It's either that, or when I was fighting 1000 Heartless in Hollow Bastion. Man, that was epic.

awesome, there's no other way to put it. Also, when I first saw the Wasteland after escaping the Vault.
i agree, on of my favorite parts was the thousand heartless fight.

but the part i liked a quite a bit.. the fight beetween sora and roxas in the world that never was, its always interesting when the two opposites who are the same (i think?) meet.
but that game is full of great story line.

but my major one is oblivion, when you first step out of the sewers to see the green hills in front, with a blue lake, and the some ruins on an island to your left. i hae never found a better time in any game.

Sonic and Knuckles 3: The first time I turned into Hyper Sonic. I still get a little rush from it, 15 years later.

I fell in love with FF7 basically right off the bat. Basically as soon as it started the opening cinematic had me entranced. The story and everything else added onto the love even more. Just talking about it makes me feel like playing it actually...hmmm.

Metal Gear Solid.
European Extreme mode.
Finally a difficulty where only stealth could prevail and bosses' bullet hit you like fucking freight trains.
Love at first 'SNNNNNNNNNNAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEEE'

Kingdom Hearts 2 became a lover of mine when Goofy was hit with the rock. I literally cried. I thought he was gone for good. I love a good tearjerker game.

Resident Evil 4 became my favorite after I realized that I'd played the game so many times that I've lost count. I knew I liked it, but not the degree that I did until I looked back and realized how much I loved it

God of War III sold me when I killed Posiden while looking through his eyes, and more and more as I brutally and epicly killed all of Greek Mythology

Fallout 3 did so I don't know when, maybe even like last night, because I was playing and playing and playing until I realized it was 7am in the morning and I'd played about 10 hours straight of Fallout 3, even though I'd already beaten it and was doing everything I'd already done in my first playthrough...that game is fantastically fantastic
