Can anyone suggest some good atmospheric horror pc games? Don't mention Bioshock(already finished it), System Shock 2(won't run on my computer), Doom 3(I thought it was rubbish) or F.E.A.R.(Generally meh, in my opinion).

And the other two as well.
Oh, right, forgot to say not to mention them either. Already have the first 2, haven't finished them yet. I like them, but its a kind of, only when I feel like playing them sort of thing.

Metro 2033... It's more FPS than horror, but it does have horror elements and is very atmospheric.

Buy Half Life 2, and download the Mods Dear Esther and Nightmare House.

Dear Esther gets under your skin, while Nightmare House just fucks with you.

Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth and the first two Penumbra games are well worth playing. Also, check out Yahtzee's John Defoe trilogy.

Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines. The combat is flawed, it has tons of bugs, but the atmosphere is amazing. It also has a huge community working to mod the game so the bugs and combat may even be fixed.

Well, it's not horror, but any of the Myst titles will throw quite the atmosphere at you, especially Uru and Myst III.

Beat me to it! another vote here for call of cthulhu, takes a bit of getting into, and its one hell of a long game, but its seriously creepy and rather scary in places!

I'll mention whatever the hell I want! But.. Silent Hill mostly. I played that game on my playstation once. I don't think I ever turned it back on.
