I can now not feel embarresed about living in south Australia! HOOORRRAAAYYY!!!!!
You can feel embarassed about it still if you really want. The Premier was beaten with a wine magazine after all. And why is it Australian politicians never get accused of having affairs with attractive people?

btw who won, liberals or labor?
At the moment it looks like Labor by a 1 seat majority... of course, Atkinson wouldn't be talking about 'stepping down' from being AG if the liberals had won because he'd just flat out not have the job anymore anyway.
Thanks for the results, and I'm not sure but the female claiming to have had an affair was probably just doing it for attention, or maybe not.

an opinion poll on this website would have more weight.
Unless the opinion poll was commissioned by the Federal Attorney General like the public consultation was, no, it wouldn't.

One thing to note is it's also a Federal Election year and Rudd's government ratings have slipped a lot, so while the R18+ issue is a tiny issue compared to a lot of others on the table, Rudd can't afford to ignore any issue he can push a resolution on.

No one really gives a toss if Rann did or didn't schtupp a married woman. What annoyed a lot of people was he answered the allegations with spin, evasion and bullshit, which is pretty much how he answered everything to do with anything except when he was claiming credit for something.

Hell, I can't be bitter, if he's stepping down, the dude can go with dignity. I just hope his successor is a a little more creative.

again? that happens too often. hopefully the school across the street is open again. the last time they decided not to and i had to drive to an election for the first time in 8 years.

did we ever even hear what the final numbers on that submission were? we heard preliminary numbers which we're heavily in favour. i don't recall the final numbers. 5000 ish entries shouldn't take that long to read. especially given the quality we can assume some people submitted (know R rating iz gae i wanna play pawn gamz lol)

Don't get too far ahead of yourselves... While S.A might not have any interfering moral crusaders on an ego trip eligible for state AG we do have some complete and utter morons in who are not only eligible but have party seniority.

Koutsantonis and Conlon come to mind, and easily fall into the 'active stupid' category of management.
