I'm beginning to think all you people suck with games on Wii since I've never had any problems with them, and I'm not really a "hardcore" gamer. Sure, graphics aren't the greatest, and neither are the 360's. I have PSP games that look better graphics wise then Halo 3 does. I think the Wii is better then 360 because it has more games I would play. I've played a 360 a few times and wasn't impressed, PS3 however, I'm planning on having one by the end of the year.
Go up to her and try to have a normal conversation like you would gamer to gamer. If you see her playing something like super mario galaxy, (while in a normal conversation about gaming you probably wouldn't say this) say something which could test her gaming skill like talking about the history of Mario, or Shigura Myamoto (The head honcho of Nintendo). Besides, you know she's old and her only experience with gaming as a whole is with a wii so don't let her get the better of you. Maybe buy her some kind of ultra violent game like mad-world, then her argument of the wii being a shining beacon of wholesomeness among the gritty, violent hellspawns of the xbox 360 and ps3 will fall flat the first time she shoves a stop sign through a mans head. Oh and you could back up your argument in the whole "Wii making you exercise" with the fact that most scientists have found that playing on the wii is in no way equivalent to actually going out and jogging or doing push-ups, that's just an excuse fat people make so they can keep playing their beloved wiis.
