Could someone who's of US origin please tell me the steam appid for your uncensored US version of the LFD2 dlc 1 and 3?

You can find it in your steam directory under

SteamApps>common>left 4 dead 2>left4dead2dlc#>gameinfo.txt

Please halp, I'm sick of gore not happening

Really? How odd. My ID for L4D2 is 550 and my ID for the DLC is 870. My version is not censored. At all.

I'm after the uncensored version because of the ridiculous censorship put on l4d2. Watch a youtube clip or something if u want to see how far they went.

I fixed it, I was missing one small thing...

For all those aussies out there interested in goring ur game up here's what u do from the very beginning:

1) Change 550 to 510 in the following files:

program files>steam>steamapps>common>left 4 dead 2>steam_appid.txt

program files>steam>steamapps>common>left 4 dead 2>left4dead2>steam.inf

program files>steam>steamapps>common>left 4 dead 2>left4dead2dlc2>gameinfo.txt

NB: Turns out you leave the 870s in the other DLC folders alone.

2) Ok here's the step I skipped -> in steam, add a non-steam game like you usually would, and navigate to:

program files>steam>steamapps>common>left 4 dead 2

then choose the left 4 dead 2 exe.

3) Open the non-steam exe via steam

4) MUCHBLOOD!!!

5) ???

6) Prophet!
