Good point - we were actually staying in Fremantle, visiting some family who lived there. It seemed much more pleasant and interesting than Perth centre.

Whilst normally I'm opposed to VicPol getting agro with protestors, people protesting that they aren't able to go spread the plague for the hell of it...yeah, if you wanted to make something up to justify police violence, that's not a bad place to start.
