And again there is an Religion Based ORGANISATION that is amjourly ass backwards.

Please dear Believers of whatever religion, this comment is not aimed at you hence the word ORGANISATION is beeing written in all caps.

I would lie would i say that i know plenty of Christians and Muslims etc.
But i know many persons who aren't assholes and i am certain there are quite a few religious believers in them.

Oh yeah and there are also many Atheiststhat are mindnumbing ass backwards, even in the wider circle of friends. X-P

Well it's a democracy isn't it? Then use that freedom to create a serious public discussion. Many countries around the World aren't able to create a discussion about issues.

Moaning on video game websites won't do anything. If you want a change get out and do something about it.

I'm pretty sure the civil right's movement/Suffragettes didn't just sit about moaning, they got out onto the streets and made the people in power aware of the issue.
Not to imply that a public protest is the wrong thing to do, however I remeber quite a few times where i've read about public protests, where it can sometimes be negative.

For example when gamers end up sending death threats, or marching in cosplay it just stops becoming a normal view from the majority of the community, and becoming this weird subset of people who are a shunned minority.

Pettitions(online or not) are actually a normal way of protesting an issue, and allow gamers to be portrayed as the normal public, instead of a 30year old man in a pickachu costume in front of parliment shouting that he wants more violence. A fictional example but you get my point.
Of course, that would do more harm than good. I'm talking about getting organised, setting up constant appointments with local MPs, getting artists from other mediums in public support of the cause, forcing the MPs to bring a debate about in parliament etc.

It can be done if people want it enough, all I see is people not wanting it enough in Australia to put time and effort in to get organised and do what needs to be done. All I see is the occasional whine on an internet gaming website.

I remember there being talk of teaching creationism in Australian schools.
That debate was going on in the United States of White Christians long, long, long before it came here.
also, wow-wee, this post of yours is pointless! your a troll! why bother coming here, dude?
I don't think you understand what a troll is.

Best you learn as much before making a fool of yourself again.
your either a troll or painfully insensitive.

"United States of White Christians" Im sorry, but this is unessesary doucheyness. your post had no point other than randomly shoving a White American=Christian racist stereotype in the middle of a completely unrelated subject.

and if your going to say "it is related", ill say "barely". you sound like a troll, and quite frankly, if your not a troll, your something much worse.

You're full of it.
With an opening like that, the rest of your response doesn't deserve a reply.

Forum rules - read them.
OK. dude: we need to talk.

quit being rude, quit trying to make yourself look better than everyone else, and please for the love of god, lighten the hell up.

Its really jarring to be browsing a forum full of calm people who, for all the stupid things they may or may not say, are at least not just outright trolling one-another.

you are acting like your a famous king towards a bunch of strangers who couldn't care less, and Heres what kills me: refusing accept the other person might have a point. grow up.
If you infer some sense of grandeur from my posts it says more of you than it does of me.
boy, Im telling you need to acknowledge the possibility your wrong.
read my post, and respond to them, tell us your opinion, but respect ours, if we express a negative opinion of you, just be negative back.

don't skim through it and make a "subtle" insulting responces, debate with us.

your on a fucking forum for gods sake. debating is kind of the point, you know

[sub](P.S. he said your full of it, and from that, you determined his post deserved no response. to quote myself "lighten the hell up")[/sub]

Of course I was speaking of very specific type of Australian Christian here. I have plenty of issues with my own American Christians. But that's another topic for another day.

*ehem* stop teaching law *blows nose* USA Jesus lovers *cough cough* teach grace!
