I don't know if the news has reached America yet, but the R18+ rating for video games has reached the next step in progressing to becoming law in Australia. As reported in the free paper mX in sydney, the R18+ legislation has been passed in the Lower House (House of Representatives) and will be discussed in the Senate. Hopefully none of our politicians will try and mess this up. They hope to get the law into effect by next year.
i don't know about you americans but for my fellow Australians, THIS IS AWESOME. The most awesome thing about this is the law has been passed to the Senate with no amendments. which is good news for some reason.

So what do you guys think? Awesome? about time? statement which has one-sided support for the passing of this bill? Mortal Kombat in Oz?

About bloody time, this has been due for... ever...

God we are a backwards swamp of a country sometimes.

Make jokes after they pass the law.. we don't know if they forgot manhunt. LOL
