ok just want to point out how easy it would be to open one of these things take out what you wanted and put it back together. you can slide of the dam plastic and the box is designed to open. Personally I put the fault for this on
1. the carriers, not in that they did a bad job transporting it just maybe did a bad job making sure no one stole from their packages.
2. customs. I don't know about Australia but in the US if customs messes with your stuff they tend to not give two shits about damage after they've seen inside to the point that ive had discs flying around in the case so badly they chipped.
Slide off the damn plastic?
They were factory sealed, as in, the entire box was 100% heat sealed in plastic, with no tears/rips or repairs in the sealing, they had to be physically unsealed with a box cutter to get into them to be checked for damage.
If it were shipping companies or customs, I highly doubt that 95% of them would have been damaged and stolen from, we aren't talking about some of them being damaged, we are talking about ALL but some of them being damaged.
You could argue that the shipping companies or customs re-sealed them (which is a bit out there, I doubt customs have heat sealers and plastic of the same variety and size, customs also doesn't have to do that as anything seized by customs has to be labelled and they have no obligation to keep it in the same condition), but a quick youtube search of unboxings and seeing what the factory seal looked like on the editions that arrived in Australia would seem to suggest they came direct from the factory and were never opened.
