Ok so its the first day of Autumn today, is it weird that I'm actually kinda excited about it?
Im really a autumn person and I have my resons for this, such as being ginger so im not able to go out in the sun with out fear of turning in to a pretty close resemblance burnt, crisp, sundried tomato. Also, there are less dirty old men in tiny shorts lingering around with their shriveled knees out.People seem to care less about what they look like as well. In addition, almost everything looks better (in the UK atleast) with the exceptions of like fields of stuff. Down side is that loads of people complain about the cold...
So yeah, how do you lot feel about this season?

I live in LA, and Autumn means no more summer heat.

Winter is a lot more awesome, but hey as long as its not 103 damn degrees!

Autumn is the greatest. I hate the heat of summer. I always feel good when I feel that first chill of autumn. I remember when I was a kid and there used to be all of this frosted grass in the morning.

I'm pretty excited too. The second half of the year is always my favourite part, weather-wise.

Nature has no bad weather. As every other season, autumn is something to be admired. Entire forests in orange, frequent rain which brings freshness, and so on. There is a problems, such as mud or school, but it's nonetheless awesome. And then there's Thanksgiving Day/Halloween/what have you...

Meh. It's not bad it just has the poor luck being after summer (which I'm a fan of).
In LA, though, it's more hot than cold. It's freaken torturing.

I have no idea why but the United States basically hates the metric system.

Meters? Nope feet!
Centigrade? Nope, Fahrenheit!
Kilogram? Nope, pound!

Autumn can be a very pretty season, but it's usually not here in Holland. Well, at least not the little spot I occupy. Everything can be good in the proper context, the proper context is kinda gone though.

There is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong equipment. It says that right on my book mark.
Yeah the colours have to be the best bit, dry dirt is never as fun to look at

My father told me that when metric system was adopted,it was too much of an arse to redo the measurings on all industrial hardware in USA,which was large exporter at that time. Plus,it may have something to do with USSR using the metric system.

So true, if anything its probably hotter here during September and October than anything, and then the fires come. Exciting! Oh well its worth it, living here kicks the ass out of most places.
I hate it when it's like that especially when school starts. And the fires. We'll never get enough fires. It's never a good way to end summer.
But I still love it here, regardless of my complaining.

So communist numbers mean that you can't have a sytem that makes more sense?
To be fair, I don't think there are very many places were impreial measurements have completely managed to be phased out, here we use just about every measure we can get our hands on...
