That does sound pretty good, but I couldn't imagine a whole movie with colonies of people in oxygen masks.
Easy, they develop an inoculation or bio-synthetic device that allows the colonists/marines to breath the air. All you need is a single line of exposition.

AH! FUCK!

Now it's stuck in my head!

I need to go and find a hammer.
I know this is late, I had major computer problems right before I was going to post this (maybe a sign). I got us into this, so I'll get us out of it. I've comprised a little image to help us all ease out of the pain. It's helping me, it just might help you
we have to do this slow or else it won't go away

Okay. So now it's Predator.

Sir, if you were the one who drew this, you are possessing of a deranged mind. But dammit, it is helping.
You're near the end of this session. This should cure you of the last thing, but it may start something new. But rest assured it's completely manageable.

Okay. I don't get it, what's that supposed to be?
Yeah, I'm really tired right now, it's 6 a.m and I've been working for the last 2 hours so my quality is dropping. It supposed to be you and Jake sully (in wheelchair mode) having a great time! So it wasn't a xenomorph and Jake you guys were just rollerskating, I now need sleep to make it so I can make quality pictures, like dick tracy eating indiana jones. G'night, G'night to ALL!

..Oh yeah! It's me! How did I not get that!

I'm even wearing that fucking t-shirt right now! Jesus man, I am so fucking tired.

Anyway, that was very nice of you. I might print those out.
It was my fault, I tend to give people nightmares, I figured I'd help at least one person with it. Wish I could say the same for poor sweet Agayek, I've probably left alien on jake sully scars in his head forever.

I'm pretty sure the last one left no unresolved plot threads.

But i was baked when i watched it, so idk.
There's always the plot hole of "How the hell does the mountains float?"

Which I'm still waiting for to be answered.

Because it's a completely different planet, and things work differently, physics wise. After all, they've already established that the entire planet is a giant neurosystem, so it's obvious that physics works slightly differently on Pandora.

However, it's probably something to do with a massive magnetic field, and high levels of magnetic material in the mountains themselves, keeping them afloat. It's like trying to put the same side of two magnets against each other, they just won't touch. That would also explain why all the instruments on the aircraft go offline.
Unfortunately, there's a tiny little flaw in your explanation.

It's not explained in the movie.

And if it isn't explained in the movie, it's a plot hole. You can work day and night to try and explain it, but until there comes an official cannon announcement regarding that issue, it will remain as a plot hole.

Oh, and the laws of physics apply everywhere, even on Pandora. DO NOT DEFY THE GREAT LAW OF PHYSICS!

The first movie didn't end in the way that would make you think there would be a sequel
first they need no think of what it's going to be about
Second they need to get the same budget...impossible

Also they don't need a sequel, they already made enough money to buy Hawaii

Physics works differently???

Go back to school. Physics is physics. It's universal. The ides of physics fucntioning differently is where the term "physically impossible" comes from.

Civil war on Pandora. In the middle of the carnage suddenly a good sci fi appears and destroys everything

Pocahontas ripped off Dances with Wolves, and Halo ripped off other movies by Cameron, so all Cameron did was use his signature sci-fi style.
The term 'Ripped off' gets used so much these days that I sometimes wish to rip off a scene from Terminator in real life.

Probably the Navi being invaded by some other alien race and the humans helping out or some crap like that. Avatar really wasn't the masterpeice I hear people claiming it to be. It was good but it wasn't the god sent film most people think it was. A sequel is so un-needed.
Well, I thought it was myself. A very good way to end what hasn't been a great decade.
The story was just a rehash of a Disney classic with a new skin. Granted the skin is incredibly well animated and nicely put together its nothing new.

As for a not so great decade... Lord of the Rings. Star Wars. Watchmen. Distric 9. Cloverfield. 28 days/weeks later. Crank 1&2. 300... and sooooooo many more. I think the decade had a FANTASTIC bunch of movies. Sure there were some totally rediculus ones but what decade doesn't have its fair share of crap?
Star wars was the 70s and early 80s
I hope I havn't been ninja'd, but the prequels came out in the 00's.
