This article made me sad. I hated Avatar and, when watching it at the cinema, I thought the plot was painfully unoriginal, the 3D was good, but stopped the film drawing me in because I was either thinking "Phwooar..." or "That looks like dog shit," the characters were really bland, and I didn't like the way the human's were the bad guys. I refuse to believe that someone would turn on their own species like that, and by about an hour in, I badly wanted my money back. It's only redeeming quality was the effects, but lots of films have good effects - films that didn't waste two hours of my time.
Is anyone excited about the sequel? I think that even if I like the original it was a one hit wonder, but I suppose lemmings will follow each other over the edge.
