Taking the opportunity and, nothing against you, but avatars like yours. Creepy faces like that.BanicRhys said:I ha-a-ate My Little Pony avatars. Hell, I press the big red button just to get away from them.
Also people who think they're being funny by using a troll face as their avatar bug me.
Whereas interesting and fairly original avatars catch my attention when just scanning through. Sorry to quote you as an example, but you fit the bill.J03bot said:I'll also admit to a slight anti-pony-avatar bias. So many avatars on the same theme in the same colour palette - it's remarkably hard to tell users apart with them, which is one of the main functions of individual avatars in the first place.
Some animated avatars have a borderline hypnotic quality, which means I spend a lot of time looking at them, which consequently means I spend a lot of time looking at the posts of the people who use them, making me more likely to reply.
Guess it's a good thing that that's not what this thread is about.Ross Perot said:I'm biased against threads about how we can claim to know a person's entire personality based on the 100x100 picture they choose to show on an internet forum.
That's what that was? I saw it as an alien banging his face against a window! I'm laughing my ass off at what I thought it was now that it looks so clear to me.KefkaCultist said:Nah, not really. No avatars bug me, but lack-of avatars do. I remember people by their avatar more than their name usually so when someone doesn't have an avatar I feel kinda like I don't trust them in some strange way.
On a side note, I wonder if anyone has a bias to my Pulsating Vagina Monster gif that I made?
