I was going with a cross between Wandering Monk/Good Samaritan.

Kei wasn't meant to be a part of the White Lotus (at least not at the start)

If you need him to be a part of it however, I will make the change.

You so have my word.

Outside of the obvious horror game that has scarred me slightly and it's sequel I'm pretty sure I'll be getting regardless of the rate I will surely go through pants, quite amenable to them, so long as they don't become Mr. and Mrs. Sue, how are you?

Keep with the bio if you want, there's nothing wrong with it, it's just him being a sandbender makes it a tiny bit harder on my side for story-telling purposes. You aren't automatically thrown out into the cold simply for something like that, there's only like four or five of the (hopefully) ten sheets that have a shoe-in here, so you're still very much in the running.

Sorry if I didn't explain it all that well in the OP, that's on me. You are either being inducted into the order, or a merc/wanderer that heard about a very important job they need capable hands to complete. Wandering "super" is a good enough thing I suppose, I'll let everyone know who hasn't been outright told, and those were the reserved peoples so far. I'm going to wait for some more sheets with more variety of personalities and ideas. Ideas are good, they allow me to plagiarize later on in life.

I'll take that as humor, I really hope I'm right here and you aren't more than slightly annoyed with me. Us GM's have feelings too....sometimes....maybe.....no, I'm lying, sorry. But, welcome to the final judgement. I really don't remember exactly what wasn't clicking with your sheet on my side, late nights do weird crap to you.

But, in other news, you've signed over your soul, house, most expensive car you ever own, and your first born hermaphrodite, good, I like to know I have someone over my thumb. [sub][sub]you have to learn to read the non-existent print[/sub][/sub]

I think you missed a quote there.

Name: Riku Yoshida
Gender & Age: Male, 23
Concept: Air Bender mercenary

Appearance: He is a small, thin man, standing at around 5'8, with an almost blonde orange hair, that is perpetually messy. He lacks the usual air bender tattoo, instead having a mimicry in the form of a black dragon running down his left arm. His preferred clothing is a loose wine colored tunic that reaches his mid thigh, black pants and brown boots that run up to his mid-calf, the edges flipped down due to their length.

Personality: On the outside he tends to be a bit obnoxious, seemingly arrogant and highly sarcastic. The truth is, he is ruthless and analytical. He actually dislikes violence, and will end fights with brutal efficiency. When he makes a friend, he is willing to bend over backwards to help them.

Equipment: A bladed fan with the Fire Nation symbol on it.

Animal Companions: An old messenger hawk named Roxas, shortened to Roxxy, a gift from his mother and a loyal beast. It refuses to travel too much though, as it is past its' prime.

Bio: His father was a Monk in the Southern air temple, though was fed up due to it being, in his words, 'boring'. He longed for excitement, and left when he came of age. He decided to try his hand at mercenary work, and found he liked the taste of blood. He became partially famous, picking up the name 'Mouse' for his small size, high speed, and love of cheese. When he found himself too old, and tired of the fighting, he found a nice village around the Fire Nation, eventually finding a wife and siring twins, the air bender Riku and a firebender Sora. The two boys were content with their upbringing, combat training played a heavy role though. Riku didn't like fighting, though Sora was all for it. In fact, Sora became the fourth youngest bender to ever learn the trade. A fact that wasn't actually confirmed, but a thing their father told him. He enjoyed it whether it was true or not. When the Fire Nation bandits invaded, it was the day they were going to be tested anyways. The day started off normally enough, the boys arguing over breakfast, quickly escalating to bending fight, and both are sent to their rooms by their father. Also as was the usual Riku ran to the farms to blow off some steam. He was one of the first to witness their charge. The bandits were ruthless, and bold, cutting down peasants and setting fire to buildings. Riku attempted to help in the defense after his shell shock wore off, working with his father and brother. Their valiant effort was for naught, unfortunately, as the village fell regardless. Riku had managed to escape without scar, but his brother lost an arm from the elbow down. They had managed to stop the bleeding and get a bandage for him. Thus began their travels, the stuff of stories really. The boys and father went around helping the defenseless and all that, though when they found dear old dad was too old to continue, they were forced to flee the nation they were raised in. They made it to Ba Sing Se, and continued their mercenary work. This eventually took a dark turn, as they were caught by two gangs they were harassing for several weeks. Riku left with but a few bruises, and one less brother. After paying for his funeral, a nice one at that, he decided to use what little power he had for good, and signed up for the White Lotus.
I think I fixed the problems you mentioned. Also, added in a few more Kingdom hearts names.

It's a remake.
Name: May Chey

Gender & Age : Female, 32

Concept : Non-bender. Originally from the fire nation.

Appearance: Short, thin and light as a feather, the only heavy part of May is the peg-leg she carries around with her. Her right leg is almost completely missing and all that remains is a short stump connected to her mechanical leg. The peg-leg looks simple but it harbors deadly ingredients and munitions inside, along with some of her favorite liquor.

Her very short hair is brownish-red and her eyes, if one could see them underneath her thick grey goggles are crystal blue.

Personality: May is often indifferent towards newcomers and welcoming to old friends. She envies benders and pities non-benders. She could accept the authority of her peers or superiors she respects, but she has trouble abiding to local laws she finds ridiculous or unimportant. She is often mildly intoxicated as the pain from her injury is nearly constant. As a result she is more upbeat and friendly the drunker she gets.

Equipment: May's mechanical right leg, fitted well for travel. It has many of the munitions she uses, ingredients she uses in her experiments and a few bottles of booze. Inside are a number of flash-bombs, smoke-bombs and explosives.

A metal cane used by May just in case. She carries it with her to appear frail, but the cane holds a blade inside that can be extended in the edge and be used as a spear. The cane has a few slots for fireworks. These fireworks act as either signal flairs, ranged vessels of fiery death or just to have a good time. When shit hits the fan it can help her walk with a damaged mechanical leg.

Two specially designed gloves that can be ignited with Greek fire from her cane and not affect her body. The gloves are made from a fabric that will not burn or transfer the heat to her body, which lets her ignite a fist in flames and use it in combat. It was one of her attempts of mimicking fire-bending. She can stop the fire if she buries her hands/gloves in sand or uses a material located within her mechanical leg. It's first advised to remove the glove in any case before proceeding.

Fighting Style: May uses an array of fighting styles. Her first move is to demolish the enemy using heavy munitions if possible. However to preserve ammunition she can use her cane as a spear in moderate range against assailants. When she loses her spear or when there's much heat thrown at her, she will ignite one or two of her hands in preparations for meeting her foe. She is an adept with the spear and a skilled boxer, although her light-weight and lack of balance hinder her ability to fight well.

Animal Companions: The son of her father's old friend, this hawk was tamed by May when she was only thirteen. After her sister failed communicating with him, May managed to convince the creature to be at her side. His name is Rohan.

Bio: May was the daughter of a respectable fire-nation navy colonel. Even though he was disappointed in his wife's inability of giving him proper heirs for his legacy, he instead sought to make his daughter his successor. When May was as young as six her father tried to awaken the bending side of her, but after two years of desperate searches and failures he gave up on the prospect of May continuing his legacy. However this did not signal the end of their family line when May's younger sister by two years was found to be exceptionally gifted in the art of fire-bending.

When May was growing up she lived in luxury and excess. She had access to most of the fire-nation's finest tutors and education. When her sister was concentrating on conjuring fire efficiently, May was debating the nature of the world and the forces who work within it with her teachers. She was encouraged by her father to try and tame the family hawk's offspring after the failure of her younger sister. Although she was reluctant at first she grew fond of the beast and named him Jimmy. Continuing her studies she had shown exceptional deductive abilities and ample imagination. However her desire to live up to what her father wanted her to be possessed the girl for the next decade. She looked for some way to become a fire-bender herself and imitate the way benders work their flames.

Her pursuit of the perfect blaze had her descend into a downwards spiral of theories and experimentation. In one of her experiments an explosion nearly killed her. It scarred her body and nearly incinerated all of her right leg. After her recovery she refused to give in and spend the rest of her live as a cripple. She asked her father to have someone make her another leg to walk on. She learned from that craftsman all she knew about mechanical engineering and with him continued to perfect her right leg.

The explosion also took a mental toll on the poor girl. She was barely twenty when her youth and beauty was taken away and instead replaced with a missing limb and constant pain. She took her mechanic's advice and dulled the pain using alcohol. As time went on she experimented more with the substance, going as far as making her own type of liquor. When she grew older she almost never lived sober. The only time when she stopped drinking was when she observed her father's funeral.

Torn by guilt and disappointment, May saw her sister take over the family crest and represent their name. She knew that there was no longer anyone left to please but herself, and her desire to find out how bending works and how it can be taught to a non-bender drove her out of her depression. She went out to the world and meet people - benders, unlike her, and study them. For the first time she left the fire nation to see the air nomads and visit the earth kingdom. On her way there she heard rumors of the white lotus possessing knowledge beyond that of ordinary mortals. May was certain she could find what she was looking for in one of the organization's libraries, if only she gained their trust.

I don't know man, maybe they're threatened by other people who don't want them to apply here... Maybe we should investigate who is doing this!

We shouldn't throw names (even though they might be right) around... Anyway, I do think that some people would have already burnt so many bridges they're stuck on their own sad little island, yet these people still find people that are willing to play with them.

Just thought I'd let everyone know, I'll start this sometime around noon Central time, I know I put an accepted characters list at the front here, but you'll know for sure if you're in because I mean to make it pretty much the first thing you see. I'd start it earlier, but I've either got class or something else eating up my time up till around eleven most days, and I like eating at least once a day. This doctor guy keeps telling me I need to do it more than once, but what does he know? He's just a guy with a piece of paper on his wall that says he knows the theory behind cutting into people.

Now that I might've ruined all your faith in doctors:

To the people that don't get in, I'm sorry, but some spots were pre-filled through skype and the fact that this is a reboot of another rp that got clogged by...something, I forget exactly what because I have a horrible memory for these things. There's also the fact that all gm's are at varying levels of dickishness,(come on, we've got power over you talking props to a degree that we can abuse at any point, at heart we're all just power hungry control freaks. But good meaning control freaks, I assure yo-*insane laughter*) and although I like to think I'm on the lower end of the spectrum when it comes to games, this doesn't really hold true at all times. If you don't get accepted, and there are few that won't, feel free to pm me and I'd be glad to tell you what I personally didn't care for in the sheet. But it may or may not really hold true to the rest of the people here since I don't intend on running another rp anytime soon, since this one's planned out to the middle of book 2, with a framework for the rest. And if we get that far and I don't have anything set in stone, I'll just make it up as I go, making all your lives hell(this is easily translatable to "Cabbage") and the Fire Nation full of Combustion Men and Super Archers.

Also, winging it is the best approach, methinks :D

Sorry guys, None of you made the final cut, your sheets just didn't reach the goal I expect of you.

No, I'm not going to put you through that whole song and dance, you're all in. The group I'll start setting up, I'd have done it last night along with the first post, but I just hate how tedious it is setting them up. If you'd like in the Skype group too, just send me your skype name, it's a bit faster and we have meaningful discussions that never evolve into anything beyond quiet reasoning and sound arguments....[sub][sub][sub]Yeah, that's a good sales pitch, totally believable[/sub][/sub][/sub]

Anyways, you're in, and the thread's up, sorry for not telling you guys earlier. The other people already know they're in because of said skype group. Not mandatory because of the group here, but still we crack jokes and make fun of each other, just like in real life, except we have corners we can go off and cry in because it's the internet!

Hell, my heart almost went *dadoomp*. Which was made worse by the fact I already saw myself on the in list for the actual RP page.
I was uop till 4:30 last night and saw that the page was up. I just didn't want to be the first one to post is all.
But good to know I'm still in, I need to cut this chain off now.
