Nauja lay on her back, breathing heavily. She couldn't remember the last time she'd run so much, it was... tiring, to say the least. She could hear the other two talking about something, but wasn't paying much attention, something about Fire Nation activities? She'd heard rumors about this, but hadn't given it much thought... not until recently, anyway.

Finally, she sat up, well aware that the boys were starting to get up.

"So I guess break time's over, huh?" Nauja got to her feet, dusting off her pants. "Well, I got nowhere else to be, guess I'll go with you."

"There's been reports of ambushes on Earth-Kingdom troops" Tao stated through what Kohaku thought were clenched teeth. He would take that answer as there were a number of Fire Nation patrols throughout this land, so Kohaku would have to be careful. It seemed that traveling in a group would probably be the best for his own safety, that and he would be able to learn a little bit more in his travels of these Fire Nation patrols.

"That's actually why I'm heading to Omashu, I..." A few bushes rustled overhead, causing Tao to pause. A few seconds pass before he speaks again.

"Regardless, waiting around get us no further, so, would you like to join us? There is no safer city in this part of the Earth Kingdom."

Kohaku only thought of this for a moment before he nodded and motioned for the others to lead. Being in a group was probably the safest place for him to be. At least for the moment.
