I change my avatar very often but I try to limit myself to once a month so I can atleast appreciate it until I change it. Right now I would change it, but I can't resize my pics.

I changed my avatar recently because someone said it was scary :x but it's still the same character, just a less 'I'm going to eat you' shot of her

I just pick a character I like from a show, movie, etc. Sometimes I keep it the same for a long time, sometimes I change it a lot. Depends how much I like the pic.

used to change mine a fair bit, now i just keep the same one. every now and then i'm tempted to change, but the staying power for my current one just deters me

I tend to change my avatar every 2-3 months. Though since May last year they've all been Rainbow Dash, cept it was Fluttershy at first. That RD came on the scene (Favorite pony). I'll just feel they're boring or find a way cooler pic.

I believe before that time my avatars were of Sir Schmoopy (UR), something to do with Nod (C&C) or one of my furry RP characters. That all was so long ago though.

i used to, a lot

then ... MLP kinda happened and its been Princess Luna ever since. and after i changed my name i was on the look for 'Luna in Armor' since it'd kinda work with the name.

apparently the on i have now is Luna done up like some guy named Talon for LoL *shrugs* looks 'templarish' enough for me for it to work

My origional Avatar was the Aquilla, (two headed bird). That didn't change until this years March Mayhem (MM logos and background added, then the good folks at the Avatar Store
