I somewhat captures my personality, though not nearly as well as my old Kenshin avatar, which captured my personlity almost perfectly.

Mine I made, to an extent.
Naoto is my favourite character in a game. At least so far. So I took a scan from the Persona 4 artbook and cropped it to the face I really like, then resized and changed the white background to a yellow more befitting of a Persona 4 character.

For the longest time 'Vizeral' aka 'Mr. Smart' aka 'Anarchemitis' has served me well, even taking the time to do holiday hours. There have been less than a total of 4 months out of my entire history that hasn't been this guy's variations.

New and improved Classic flavor.

Halloween '08, where all the coolest people dressed up their avatars.

Yuletide coat and Jovial demeanor with that Gin and tonic.

Yuletide suit with the Holly livery. Didn't last long because I thought it would be a lark to boycott the Holiday Council for a while.

White jacket and suit. This avatar is still used for me on my Youtube and Steam accounts.

Sunday Cream coat. I think I used this for some delightfully begotten Autumn.

Ah, one of my favorites. The Spring Blazer.

Summer Green. I don't think I've used this one... It's the only one where the figure is not wearing a shirt under the jacket.

I decided on mine because it was the emblem from the squadron of my favorite game (Ace Combat 5 the only game to get me so involved I actually cried at a character's death), and because it also represented my lifelong wish to join the military as well as army brat upbringing.

Edit: Oh forgot I also liked it for the legend which I can still tell today.

A Hubble picture of the so-called 'Eye of God' and turned sideways to resemble the symbol of infinity.

Mainly because

1. I love space and Hubble takes the most amazing pictures.
2. Mankind's quest for truth and advancement is infinite by nature. We can never know everything.
3. The scientific method has brought us the comfort, security and wealth we enjoy these days. I personally feel the Hubble is an important symbol of that: we have enough resources, time and knowledge to actually lauch a fricking huge camera to our orbit.
