Average Age?

It's been at the back of my mind for a while, this particular issue involves the age of people that frequent this site.
While i'm aware that it takes a certain degree of immaturity to be a gamer, it seems to be in abundance here. Everywhere I turn there's the puffed out chests and bravado that comes with being a teenager with anonymity. Arguing weather cod is better than bf is the modern day equivalent of 'my dad can batter your dad,' not to mention half of the threads these days are from adolescents wanting help with their schoolwork, it seems to weedle its way into almost every thread.
Next and possibly the most sickening thing i've ever seen aside from 2G1C, is the whole ponies motif that seems to be eating my tolerence for this website like so many wasps drunkenly devouring rotting apples.

So, my question is this, how old is the average escapist?
Also, pls make the ponies go away

Also stop whining about ponies, I'm pretty sure I spend more time on this website than you do, and their presence hasn't been significant enough to bother me. These days it's really just a handful of pony avatars, and the occasional pony thread.

Well there are plenty of age polls so a minor amount of math will get you the anwser, my guess is the average age comes in at about 16.

But the real issue here my friend is you need to master the fine art of tolerance, what you are doing with your mighty opinions is setting an example the younger audience will pick up on...

26, although a lot of people say I just kinda got to 12 and stayed there. I still like a lot of what I liked as a kid, I shirk responsibility as much as possible and I make silly immature jokes

Thankfully in terms of gaming maturity I believe I've risen above the level of BF vs CoD crap or some of the other stuff people complain about. I try to always make mature, well thought out arguments for why I personally believe 1 game may be better then another, and am always willing to listen to, and even better, accept the fact, that people have other opinions than myself. Of course that might just be drawn from almost 10 years of retail sales/collections work, you learn to put up with and be mature about a LOT of crap working on commission.

Oh, you nearly got me there! But, yeah, it totally does.

The OP might have included a poll, though it's traditional to exclude many potential options, (even if the Escapist doesn't happen to eat your poll), along the lines of "Where do you live? America, Canada, Brtain, England, Sctoland, Europe, otehr".
