I have serious thing against every Australian person on this thread for not mentioning anyone of Nick Cave's bands yet. You all fail.
Now then, from the US that I haven't seen mentioned yet:
Weather Report, Rage Against the Machine, Queens of the Stone Age, REM, Primus, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Double Trouble, Dead Kennedys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Offsprind, to name a few.
Now then, from the US that I haven't seen mentioned yet:

Anyone in Brisbane should see there guys, they are simply amazing live! I once saw the singer jump the first two rows of people onto a pool table, then he started dancing. So good!
