When did they cancel Scrubs? But yeah, Kings is a pretty awesome show. Pretty much every show made between age 5 and 8.

Firefly is, as always, the only correct answer.
I'd like to add Kröd Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1299897/] to that list, thank you kindly!

Fastlane, all of the old nicktoons (Doug, Rugrats, Ren and Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, Angry Beavers, Cat-Dog, etc...) Mystery Science Theater 3,000, Captain N, Clerks, Gilmore Girls (shut up! it was funny!) The Job, Beavis and Butthead, The Head, Aeon Flux, Daria... Unfortunately there are very few good shows left on TV, and the ones that are on seem to be on at the same time... curse my non-DVR cable subscription!

Well, I was going to do this thing where I just quoted all of the instances of the word 'Firefly', but I'm a lazy and not-very-good Browncoat (I'm kin of 76ers, the captain of the local Browncoat group, etc, but I tend to stay out of the community).

Long story short: Firefly.

...and Pushing Daisies, 'cause that show was pretty damned cute.

Also: The Animaniacs, and whoever the hell said Freakazoid? Yeah.

Captain Simian, although unusually I can see why it was cancelled - it was a kids cartoon that was most certainly not written for kids, and was actually an intelligent, funny sci-fi show in its own right. The worst part is it isn't even on DVD.

Aside from that, there's the usual Firefly that makes up 90% of responses on threads like these.

Freakazoid! - This was a great show. Insane, silly and a great contrast to the 'serious' superhero shows, much like The Tick was. Plus, the theme song was so catchy I didn't care it gave away the entire plot. It was just that catchy. I absolutely loved Freakazoid. Especially...INVIIIIIISIBOOOOOOOOOOO! Now I got that song stuck in my head!

Animaniacs - Ah, Animaniacs. A show so funny that even its double entendres made it past the Warner Bros. censor board. Example.
Pilgrim: Give me the bird!
Yakko: We'd love to, really, but the FOX censors wouldn't allow it.
See? Animaniacs is really the show that not only channeled the spark of the Looney Tunes, they could be considered unofficial Looney Tunes in themselves.

Batman: The Animated Series - This is the one that changed everything. It had the gothic, gritty storylines that Batman was famous for but still keeping the stories interesting and the characters interesting. And of course, we got introduced to the Joker's right-hand girl, Harley Quinn. Ah, Harley, you're too good for him...oh, uh, and of course, this was the show that really introduced us to the Batman the comic book fans are proud of. It had everything, all the storylines, the great characters, the gothic mood and the great atmosphere. It even had a bit of the camp value from the 60s show and the dark, brooding seriousness of the Tim Burton movies.

Glory to Batman: The Animated Series!
