Yeah well i was thinking about what would be an awesome game to be made, basically its like medieval total war but with first person instead.
You can pick what class you want to be and then hack your way through an army, it wouldn't be like the usual sword game with your leet spellz. it would just be a light attack and a heavy attack with fatigue to make it more realistic. As say a pikeman you can go in phalanx formation and if you had roman battles Tortoise formation.

There would also be the horses, camels and elephants to be rode around the battlefield including everyone's favourite Armoured war elephant where you could be the archer on the back.

Any improvements you could suggest or even a whole new idea would be good.

Yeah I loved the dynasty warriors series. It could work well as a medievil version. I don't know if you've heard of Bladestorm : The 100 years war, but it really does sound like what you were talking about. It was made by the Koei, same as dynasty warriors, although I've only played the demo. Its like DW except you can control groups of soldiers instead of just 1 at a time, and it's set in europe. It might be worth a look out seeing as it sounds very similar to what you described.

It's not first-person-stabber-slasher though and you're a übersoldat, not a normal soldier.

Yeah pretty interesting, I'd play it if done right, especially horse combat along with the use of siege weapons could be really cool.

I find with those battles your average life would be shorter than if you were trying to play halo blindfolded with a group of MLG's.
