Awesome soundtracks

Long story cut short, I needed to have my laptop scrapped entirely and wiped clean. Meaning I lost all my music.

Now my music taste mostly consist of instrumental scores. I dunno, I just like them better than conventional music with proper lyrics and stuff.

Problem is, I've realised I don't actually know much of this music. At the moment in my restored iTunes library I have the 3 Fable game soundtracks, the 2 Mass Effect game soundtracks, and the only commercially released albums from Immediate Music, Globus and Two Steps From Hell.

So...could anyone possibly suggest games/TV shows/films/whatever that have amazing, epic-feeling and moving orchestral soundtracks?

Try Hans Zimmer, he makes epic movie scores (especially Angels and Demons soundtrack; it made the movie 10 times better). There is also a special genre of music where artists make "trailer music" which is deliberately epic, but doesn't belong to any specific soundtrack. I would recommend you try E.S.Posthumnus and The Immediate.
