I ask you, members of The Escapist, what is in your opinion the most awesome things from the countries that together make Scandinavia?
Inventions, sports, people, anything

Personally, I must say Metal, Vikings and elite winter sport athletics.
Now I am waiting for the things that YOU think is awesome from Scandinavia.

Also, I forgot to say that the Outboard Motor or whatever it is called (You know, the little motor on the back of small boats), was invented by a Norwegian...In the USA.

Kalevala and Sauna. Though not entirely sure Sauna originates from Scandinavia and since Finland isn't officially part of Scandinavia (though often considered so in common English language), I'm not sure Kalevala counts.
