Just today I was sitting at home with a rolled-up ball of socks I've been fidgeting with the past hour and been promising myself to put in the washing basket which was roughly 10 meters away from me. because I couldn't be bothered to get up, I just threw it across the room and hoped for the best. Much to my surprise, the ball of socks flew in a good arc about 8m short and then hit my sleeping cat, into the basket. I stood up and celebrated like I've scored a penalty for England my achievement, I thought it was Fucking Awesome. Unfortunately, no-one was there to see it happen, I've told my friends bu they just patronized me and gave me loads of stick -__-

Anyone else experienced anything similar?

Poor cat...

OT: A few days back I was playing Dragon Quest VIII, I went into the casino with about 2300 tokens and I thought to myself, I'm feeling lucky so I went up to the 100 token slot machine and on my 3rd try I got triple 7s and won 100,000 tokens.

I did a little victory dance but it was about 3am at the time so no one was around...

I was playing Mass Effect 2 as a Vanguard (The NERFED TO DEATH CLASS) on Insanity. On Horizon,my squaddies went down on the second wave of Collectors in the final area. I was out of Medi-Gel. I taken cover and used my SMG to kill the Harbingers,Husks, and Collectors, and used my shotgun and particle beam to kill the Praetorian.

It was two in the afternoon. On a wedensday. No one saw.

I have a ninja-like ability to catch falling objects that have been accidentally knocked over or off of something. Usually people don't see the most awesome catches, but occasionally someone will see one and they are like "Damn!". Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any way to turn this ability into something profitable. *Sigh* back to work tomorrow...

The only thing I can take off the top of my head was a completely lucky cross-map crossbow bolt that took out 3 enemies on an objective in S+D Black Ops. Unfortunately it was a Hardcore game so no kill cams for the enemies I killed to rub my luck in their dead faces.

Awesome Things You've Done But No-one to Witness You do it.
A few days ago...
My wife came back from work very tired (like a horse after acting in a western movie so to speak). She ate something and went for a little nap. I was playing Mass Effect but something drew my attention despite headphones and pretty intense action. I saw a wasp circling around my wife's head. It may not be dangerous to most people, but my wife is allergic to that bastards venom.

Without thinking i kicked it (wasp that is) from siting position so hard that it fell dead (or stunned) on the ground. Wife didn't even realised. True story... :)

The ball didn't so much hurt him, more scare the living crap out of him and causing him to sort of 'Head' the ball of socks in the washing basket. So it was more of a team effort :)

Ever seen Super Street Fighter IV's trials? Yeah, any of those that look impressive.
My sister sits in the same room and regularly looks at the TV, but always looks away as soon as something cool happens. Though I guess I'd lose interest too after watching someone try the same thing for the five millionth time.

Me and a friend were playing pool and we were just sort of goofing around. We both stood at the opposite short ends of the table and hit a ball each towards the middle, striking each other so that they both bounce back into our respective left corner pockets, in perfect sync.

We spent that afternoon trying to recreate it and catch it on video. We never did. :(

I remember being at a garden party once (friends and booze - we're all 18 so there's never any other kind of party) and someone started throwing water balloons from a window two stories up. It was all good fun and a laugh, and I never got hit purely because none were thrown at me. Seeing one arc in front of me, I reached out to grab, hoping that by crushing it in mid-air, I would be able to get everyone around me wet, while only getting my arm soaked.

In a moment of "so bad, it's good", I missed the balloon, but my clutching hand manged to grab the small end to the balloon (the part which you tie up) and caught it without it exploding. It's not amazing, but it was a pretty awesome accidental everyday thing.

Then I smashed it into someone's face. Good times.
