I didn't go through the entire thread, so I apologize if I repeat something, but I'll post a few vids.

Seems like a good song to start with.

I can see myself spending the next week or so on this thread listening to music.

I've got a few now and will post more as I think of them and when I'm not doing this after midnight.
Not so much uplifting as it is calming, but it's still good.
Why is it that no one else has posted anything from VNV Nation?
You can never go wrong with VNV Nation. Ever.

Since I'm not entirely sure how to embed a video I'll just give you the Song and it's artist.

The song is "Bring it on" by Steven Curtis Chapman. You want a song that'll kick you into high gear it's this one!

Well unfortunately most of my music IS emotional, bleak and depressing- that's how I like it. However:

And Tenacious D never fails to raise a smile

Your suggestions are godly. Your profile pic is godly. May I contribute?

Begins utterly grotesque and mournful, but then develops into an emotional complex that brings you to tears. The good kind.

I consider this uplifting, but I'm willing to bet it just makes some people angry.

OH MY GOD that first link was supposed to be Led Zeppelin Rock and Roll.

Oh well, that Symbelmine song is awesome anyway. The artist has got it to download from a link on his site...it's damn good. Still Life is a great album, especially the 5.1 surround sound edition.
What would they care if I did stay
No-one would know
Ah-hah

I think we may need to start a spoiler requirement on all videos.

Haha, all good, the song was awesome regardless. I consider Still Life one of the greatest statements ever made, by, say, any metal artist. In a long time. My Arms, Your Hearse in accompaniment. Pain of Salvation, Anubis Gate, Animals as Leaders, all fun bands :D
Even better:
Searching my way to perplexion
Ah-ah-ah
In crumbling faith I saw her
Bearing her pain in the wilderness
The gleam of her eyes
In that moment she knew

well, let's see.....

i know gravity rush isn't even out in english yet but i still like this piece of music.
the moments in eureka seven that featured this piece were often brilliant.
this is just pretty much a feel good song.

that's it, no more. i promised myself i'd go to bed about 2 hours ago, rummaging around for music doesn't help.
