I went around the thread and pulled together everything Sevak's done as far as unlocking and changing and whatnot. It was exhausting... and took up my time to draw between studying, but now that I've got an idea of how I'm going to get Sevak to change... I figured I'd put up my efforts in case we may need it later. I've got it saved to a document... though after this post the appearance of ol' Sevak is gonna change again XD finally! He hasn't done that drastically in a very long time.

Sevak (Dragonhatchling)
Starting DNA: Timber Rattlesnake
Starting zone: Forest
Unlocked since: Praying Mantis, Fern, Centipede, Pine needles, Pine cone, Pine bark, Pine Tree, Fly, Cantaloupe, Mold, Squirrel Skeleton, Acorn Cap, Holstein Cow, Cocoa, Sugar Cane, Chocolate, Cotton, Grey, Paint Gland, Deer, Grass, Corn, Mint Extract Gland, Mint Green, Carrot, Spiderweb, Carpenter Ant Instinct, Mountain Goat
Abilities unlocked: Paint Gland, Sugar Gland, Pink, Neon Mint Green, White, Mint Extract Gland, Spiderweb Production

Appearance:
5-inch blob. He has gold-brown scales with black vertical bands. On the top of the slime there are darker green fern-scales inside the black bands, creating a diamond-like shape inside those bands. The very outer edge of the dark green has a light strip of neon-mint-green coloring as well as a tiny diamond shape inside the dark green of the same bright color. A neon-mint-green stripe also starts from the corners of Sevak?s mouth and continues in a straight line to his back end, where it connects with the other side?s stripe. He has six Centipede legs, three for each side. Normal Snake eyes are on top of Sevak?s head. There are two other bulges behind the normal eyes which have Snake eyes in the multitude and layout of fly eyes, though these are just slightly smaller. Rudimentary mouth gap with fang-like teeth inside as well as three more smaller sets behind the pair of fangs.

Sevak noticed while thinking about how he could scare the creature that the flapping was getting it lower to some sort of weird ground. With round white things in it. And very high up version of ground. The thin things off the big-talls somewhat comforted the slime as it was jostled on the supposed landing. Whatever that meant. He was down. Sort-of.
The spiderweb he had attached to the bird still held true. Too true. The slime and it were stuck together a bit too well. Until, of course, the slime started to cut a little to get the threads loose. It was risky and the slime assumed the worse, though, as he did so his shape also started to slowly change.

He was elongating a bit more, the six legs separating out evenly as his body became a bit thiner and longer while his head became a bit more triangular shaped and backend thinned out to a tapered point almost. His eyes rearranged themselves slightly to fit the head, though their position before still held true. He still had 360 vision thanks to the clusters. A god-send in this risky place. When that was over, Sevak was ravonous, though free too. Free from that flappy thing as it probably was wondering what was going on. The slime had used up the energy it had gotten from the past meals it had eaten, most of all the goat that it had eaten a pretty good amount of.
The colorings elongated as well, keeping their patterns as they had before in his previous shape. The ferned-scales followed along the top of him as well, all the way to the tail where it ended a few inches from the point. He forgot what he used those scales for by now, though he knew for sure the white heated ball in the open space he had flown in helped those. Very well in fact.

Sevak now turned his attention to the white round things and the big black thing. Were they related at all? They somewhat looked to be. He felt empowered now. Better suited to attack and actually be able to take something on instead of crash into anything and be taken away. He could fight, which would have been great if Sevak actually had a complete understanding of it. He knew biting did damage. And tackling. And knew from the carpenter ants that biting and teamwork was the best. Yet, he had no one to team with. Could he convince the round white things to team with him? Probably not. He was probably brought here for eating, like he so wanted to do now.

@Nathair: (unlocked: metabolic enzymes, mad cow disease gland) Grabbing a mouthful of the creature's eye/mouth area and yanking on it caught the slime's fangs behind part of the creature's.. head? Its head seemed segmented away from the rest of its body. It hadn't moved, and its body was getting slightly warmer as it sat in the light, out of the water. The slime tasted its own injections in the holes of the creature, and didn't expect it to ever move again. Except while it was being torn asunder.

@Sevak: One of the round white things moved a little. Barely enough to notice, but the slime's area vision caught it even while it was looking away. It moved again. Something poked out from the thing, but then it wasn't there anymore. Then it was- but in a different spot. Part of the round white thing broke, and inside there was an ugly, scrawny-looking creature. But it was far smaller than the big flappy thing, and didn't look even half dangerous.

Ripping at the face of the creature Nathair swallows the pieces that come off and go back for more. Both of his heads ripping at its skin and tearing chunks off of it as he holds it down with one foot. His heads digging into the creature and pulling pieces off. One head raises and looks around as the second swallows as much of the creature as he can. New things forming all over his back, under the skin but connected to the outside there are dozens of small things and the slime on the outside connected in some way to these new things.

The snail "love darts" are forming on his back with poison so if something touchs his back they will get stabbed with one of them.

Mozilla crashed and I lost the real spoiler.. oh! Okay, so I screwed up the story, and said the fish you're eating is two different species- coi and catfish. Wanna call it a mutant crossbreed because it's a polluted swamp, or wanna choose whether it's a coi (giant golfish, if anyone wasn't aware) or catfish? Also where are your disease/chemical/venom glands? Each one can only be linked to one attack.

@Nathair: Farther away than actually mattered in the dark wet, the giant with the serrated back made a quick appearance. If that was even it. A few small creatures jumped surprisingly far, much farther than their own body size would suggest- away from the surfacing thing. But then it submerged again. Near where the slime was eating were some tall but thin plants of some kind, and a couple sizes of strange creature hovered near them.

Lets say its a mutant.
right head; venom from eastern brown snake.
Left head; stinging nettle poison.
Both; bubble shooting.
love darts on back(14 over whole back); Nothing yet. but will be mad cow.

One head still tearing at the skin and flesh of the dead creature and swallowing it as fast as he can the other looks around. Nathair sees the organics and the different sizes of strange things. Watching them with one head carefully while he digs deeper into the thing he is eating he can fell the unattached gland in him moving from his head down to his back slowly. The things on his back also changing slightly each of them somehow seem like they are touching this new gland, and it touching them. Looking at his back for a second and 'flexing' his back several things come out of his back before they slowly go back into his slimy back.

Sevak watched the odd white things break. Weirder scrawny things came out of it. Maybe he could convince these to team with him then? How could he go about doing that though? He wasn't sure. He turned his attention to the big black thing again, realizing it wasn't too terribly as big as he had thought. Still large, but certainly no longer huge. He sized it up, his six legs moving a little as his new body mimicked the snake he had been infused with when he first was a slime. The legs were odd for that, but helpful. Maybe he could will a different use for them sometime. Right now though, he was perfectly fine with using the six of them as actual legs even if his body moved a little more strangely.

His jaw opened slightly as he moved forward a little. Testing. Would the black flappy thing attack? Maybe this demonstration would get the other smaller things to help. He charged again, a little faster even though the space was somewhat cramped. He was near the flappy thing's legs now and attempted to bite one of them if it didn't move first.

What about your Acid Rain gland? Hooked into your bubbles? I'm just glad you got lungs to make your breath weapon work.

@Nathair: Just like the creature originally... well, not exactly the same, but being able to hide its own spikes in an unassuming place was just like the creature's use of its ability. But the slime was better, smarter, and had been collecting enhancements. Enhancements to all sorts of things it was finding in what it ate and touched! But there were clearly challenges ahead- like how to catch the things in the air, or take to the air itself if the slime felt like it- though the thin flying things darting around the murky water seemed to do fine. Something caught the slime's left/left eye- one of the small jumpy things it noticed earlier did something with its mouth, and one of the smaller flying things got torn from the sky and ended up halfway in the creature's mouth; though the jumpy creature just seemed to be sitting there on a plant on the surface of the water.

@Sevak: The slime's experience in expecting poor timing was well-learned; and instinctually jerked itself out of attack as the large flappy black thing pecked down towards the slime's midsection. Good thing it was a snake-millipede. The scrawny things sitting in the broken white things didn't seem helpful, or anything. They just moved strangely, and didn't even bother opening their eyes. Other creatures the slime saw before acted similar to this, seeming to try to catch food in their mouth that happened to be flying around near them. But there wasn't anything above these things.

Ya, the acid rain gland is connected to the soap bubble gland. Acid bubbles, cool.

Turning his left head towards the jumpy thing Nathair tilts his head as he watch's something dart from its mouth again and again one of the small flying things is half in his mouth and soon eaten. Turning towards the jumpy thing while his right head still tears pieces off the thing below him and eats it. But when he takes a step forward his right head comes up and lifts to swallow a large piece that had been ripped off when he stepped away. Slowly walking towards the jumpy thing hes heads move around slightly till one is down close to the ground and the other is as tall as it can be, both of its mouths opening and instead of his fangs sliding out he can feel his neck just below where his necks split flexing and compressing slightly. Inside himself 2 glands connect and merge together in a new way, Stopping and pushing his heads forward both of his mouths open. Standing right behind one of the jumpers and looking at it Nathair push's his heads forward and push's out some bubbles like he had before, but they are a different color and the way it looks is different also. Spitting out bubble after bubble he can see them floating forward towards the jumper and several of the organics around where it is.

Sevak turned quickly, instinct taking over with his new body to attack the big flappy black thing as it pecked. His jaw opened up as he moved to attack the thing on his own. He succeeded, barely, hooking his teeth into a section near the thing's neck almost. Sorta near the flappy part though too. It was a hard bite, but snake-milipede slime didn't let go. That at least was one thing it knew how to do.
The fangs secreted a liquid they had done before only a few times. It wasn't too much, but it shocked the slime a little. He hadn't expected that to happen. But he went with it. He could sense he still had some of the liquid within him, though the bite's teeth also got just a tad deeper when he moved to be sure he could still maneuver if he got attacked at. Which was expected. He could take it. Hopefully. But he wasn't sure how the fangs and other three sets of teeth would get out of this part of the flappy thing if he needed a different bite. Hopefully it wouldn't lift off the ground again. But just to be sure, the slime started to produce webs again from a small section on his tail. It looked almost like a little bit of a knobby thing, though the slime found quickly that he could move his tail-end freely and have much more control over where the web went than before when he was smaller. That was nice.

@Nathair: (unlocked: frog croak) The slime's bubble hit the jumpy thing, and it almost seemed to jump backwards in mid-air. Must have been something else. The thing seemed... it didn't move. Then it started jumping from one flat green organic thing to another, trying to get away from the colored spheres.

@Sevak: The big flappy thing shook its limb, but the slime didn't come off. Not even a little. It shook a couple other times. Nothing. But then it bit onto the slime, its mouth full of scaled slime. But it was more dense than the creature realized, and it wasn't able to crush it, though the slime definitely felt the pressure, and it hurt.

OOC: Lots of RL stuff- specifically getting a new house this weekend. So, I plan on having you guys being my housewarming. Send me a PM with anything you want, and I'll get it to you in-game. That goes for lurkers and people reading before playing too! Here are the categories:

Information: Certain combinations of unlocks give you access to a special ability you probably won't figure out on your own, or certain unlocks will enhance abilities you already have. Request "Information" and I'll tell you something. Or you can also get a Spoiler about my ideas behind the things you've been finding. Active players only on that one.

DNA: I'll shove a plant or animal, or at least enough to get a couple unlocks from it, near you where you can find it. Nothing extinct, but I will allow fantasy! Fantasy creatures do have abilities that exist in nature or recently created genetically engineered creatures. Fantasy abilities are more powerful than their natural origins, but they're there. No extinct creatures because that's a story element for a later Arc.

Ability: Want a chemical to help you unlock a breath weapon like fire, ice, acid, smoke, or mist- you can request that. Want to be attacked by something that teaches you concussion or sandstorm breath? That can be requested, too. Want to be resistant to certain elements instead? Requesting fiberglass insulation could do that. Want to have a certain venom gland or have a gland that injects a specific disease into your victims? Can request that.

Bonus: Can request a color pattern or specific color if you want- in ADDITION to your choice of the above three categories.

How to participate: PM me with your request before I post the story update, probably sometime saturday.

OOC: Is the event still ongoing? Yes. Yes it is! Did I get to move? No. But I did activate the event, so it stays active until I move. No idea when that'll be, but I'll update everyone on both this forum and the other one when it happens.

Sevak squirmed when it was bit, biting down harder on the bird itself as payback. The tail-end of the creature moved a little closer, whacking web all over nearby. Some of it got onto the flappy thing, some of it got everywhere else. It was certainly a mess. No doubt. But what was the slime supposed to do? Let go and get killed? It was bad enough the slime was missing scale and parts of itself already and Sevak didn't want that to happen again.
So the slime tried something different. Using its six legs, and some of the anchoring of the web from its tail, it worked with the momentum of the flappy creature. Which was hard, very hard for the slime, but soon it had enough momentum to flop it over. Granted, that also meant the slime creature itself was flopped over and both now were in more of a tough position to fight. But doing so also managed to get the slime's mouth free, so another bite could be had from it if it could land a hit.

-------------------------------------------------Coryn02--------------------------------------------------------------

Out in the desert, a group of scientists (if that's what you call a group of drunk friends that decide to set up an obstacle course in the desert to see who is the most skillful drunk driver without getting arrested is called) were performing field tests studying toxicology (how drunk you can get without spinning out while doing donuts around a traffic cone in a dirt field) and one of them decided that an additional proficiency test (shooting a .22 rifle at a beer can) was required. The first round missed.
What it hit however, was a discarded and until recently, mint condition slime canister. The pellet penetrated the vial, shot through the inactive slime, passed through the other side of the vial, and disappeared into the hot desert sand. The humans never knew. If they had noticed at all, they would have seen the vial get spiderweb fractures throughout the canister, allowing the slime to easily free itself with a test of strength.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

@Sevak: The slime bit as hard as it could and as fast as it could, on any part of the creature it could get. As the flappy black thing struggled to get back up and have a better position to fight, it left its underside vulnerable and that was where the slime was able to grab with its mouth. The covering was softer here than the other limb was, and forcing liquid out wasn't particularly difficult, though the slime did have to strain itself to do it.

@Escar: The slime felt something strange. Even more strange than the tiny, extremely painful puncture wound going throughout its entire form that woke it up! It could feel that air from the other side of its inorganic prison was extremely hot and dry, but it couldn't get to it. It could feel that the inorganic had small lines splintering from the hole, proving that the prison wasn't as smooth as the slime originally felt. Pushing on it made it move a little, but it still held tight.

I did not see your reply before which is why i did not have a post up.

Jumping forward and waddling through the wetness and organics Nathair push's his heads forward snapping with fangs extended now, trying to grab the jumping thing. Pushing through the wetness and spitting up more of the floating rounds that go everywhere around him as he rush's forward.

(After trying to force its way through the container, the slime broke off the side and fell out onto some hot sand. The slime, hungry for food, then started sliding out into the desert.)

The slime felt its way around the inorganic, looking for another way out. There was another way out, but trying to get through resulted in too much pain. Concentrating on moving toward the heat, part of the slime's body started moving out past the inorganic toward the air outside. As it moved itself against the inorganic, it felt more space inside and the inorganic moved slightly. Applying as much pressure as it could, the slime tried to force its way through the hole in the inorganic. After much effort and a bit of pain, the inorganic gave way and the slime moved independently of itself, stopping with a shudder of pressure.

Sliding forwards slowly, the slime made its way off the smooth inorganic to a multitude of tiny rough inorganics. There was also heat, lots of heat on the inorganics. It made the slime uncomfortable. But its primitive thinking capacity was more set on the quest for organic absorption, driving it out into the desert.

Sevak strained a little more to get a good bite. To be sure. He wanted this thing to stop trying to kill him, and he was pretty sure he was killing it. Was that was it was called? Killing? It was something. He was trying to do something. Killing seemed to be an answer, though the slime didn't know where that had come from. He blamed the chaos. It was always the chaos.

The tiny fluffy creatures watched on nearby from their cracked things. The elongated slime released his bite, looking for a better spot to bite when he was pecked at and then possibly kicked. He didn't know what kicked meant either. Something had shoved the slime away from it a little. Away from the flappy. That wasn't good!!
The flappy was standing, albeit hurt now, and the slime was away. Not by much, but by enough to make the slime feel worried. Worried? Did it know that one? It felt as though it did.
He lunged as well as a centipede-snakelike-slime creature could do -essentially charging- at the flappy again. They collided once more, putting the slime underneath it in a series of rolls from the momentum. Unluckily, they had neared the edge of the twiggy oval shaped bowl it had been put in and one of the flappy's limbs had punched out a slime-sized hole in the twiggy. From Sevak's position, he could just make out the Nothing underneath that section. There was no hard underneath it. No ground. The Dreaded Nothing was back to seek revenge and the slime knew it. He didn't want that. Ever. And worked as hard as he possibly could to get them both away from the Dreaded Nothing and back into the middle of the twiggy. All the while, the fluffy white creatures watched and occasionally make weird sounds in response to what was going on.

That poor terrified slime... one little experience when he first was alive and it scares him for life like no other.
And I felt like saying hello here XD so hiiii *waves*

@Escar: The slime didn't have to go far in order to locate something organic. But it wasn't much- it was very thin and light, and had a hard organic part running the length of it. On each side, it had really really fluffy, light something, almost flat. It tickled and soothed the slime a little when it brushed against it. The ground was shifty and hot, and stuck in the slime a little and dried it out where it touched at the same time. Moving a little more, it felt something.. unnatural but organic. Flat on the two sides the slime felt, but they connected at a hard angle.

@Sevak: (unlocked: vulture corpse detection) The slime's biggest fear had come true. It knew it would! It seemed like the chaos kept making the slime feel good, only to slap it away. Slap? Stop it, chaos! The slime was in a daze from the fighting, and didn't even know how it happened, but it was kicked through the hole. Maybe it wasn't, and there was another hole the slime didn't see, even with its ability to see all over at once! It was falling. It fell for so much longer than it ever did before, and stopped for half a second in extreme pain before falling again. It had hit an inorganic sticking out of the wall. Below, far below, the slime saw that there was a ground after all. It just was farther than the slime knew about. It must have been so high it could nearly touch the fluffy white things that made wet!

@Nathair: A jumpy thing got stuck in the slime's left mouth. The moment the thing was caught, it.. did something. It deflated? It wasn't as big as it seemed, or as dense. What was up with this creature? But other things were zipping by the slime as well, all around it. At least four types of things it could see with its two heads. Two of them were pretty much the same, just different colors. Long, hard, and able to fly backwards when they wanted to. One of the others just hovered mostly, but had huge flappy things on its sides, and some long pokey thing in front of it. The slime had eaten some of those and knew what they were. The last one was new.

Surprised when it deflated in his mouth Nathair almost drops it as his mouth almost closes from how far it deflates. His left head lifts to swallow it as his right head turns and looks at the things all around. Focusing on one of the things that is new with his right head he moves it towards this new thing. As his left head lowers after swallowing the jumpy deflating thing and looks down at the floating things it had been jumping on. Poking the organic with his left nose he watch's it move under his poke.

Poking it a second time Nathair lifts its head to watch it move and float around. Leaning down and taking the edge of it in his mouth he lifts it into the air slightly and bites down to tear some off. Not working because of nothing to tear or cut it with inside his mouth he drops it and turns both his heads to the floating thing. Both his heads bite down on it and work at it, slowly tearing it apart and slowly swallowing the smaller piece. The feeling different than other things he had eaten, no blood or meat but still the feeling of organics in his mouth and going down.

As he swallows the piece and drops the rest he goes back to watching the long hard thing with one head and the huge flappy with his other head. Stepping forward and sinking deeper into the wetness around him and the squishiness under him. Taking slow steps in the squichy thing under the wet and sinking deeper into it Nathair sinks under the edge of the wet and looks up under it to the harder to see now things above. Slowly moving closer and getting under them he spreads his heads wide and one under each of the floating things with hard body's he stares at them for a minute before pushing his heads out of the wet and opening his mouths to try catching both of them.
