Bad Company 2 Already with Issues

Hey folks, so I'm playing the SP campaign of the new Battlefield game right, and I'm at the start and I go to kill this dude when all of a sudden, I can't swing my knife :O It refuses to swing. The swinging of the knife is not taking part.

Anywho, I wonder what would cause this.. and is there anyway to fix it? It's not my mouse because I changed a binding to my keyboard.. Cheers

Oh wait, nevermind, the tutorial misguided me.. aparantly you have to press the melee button with your knife out in order to swing.

Bad Company doesn't have a dedicated Melee button, what is this? 1999?.

I hear Bad Company the critics are saying Bad Company is better than MW2, thats a good achievement on DICE's part!, shame that the tutorial is broken though.

Yes you use the melee button to knife you big silly head =3

But yes, I can see why you were confused for a short bit.
Nothing huge though.

In my opinion the campaign is better, but not as epic as mw2's

Hehe yeah I thought it was an equipable knife, not a one press button instaknife Found that out when I got my first gun.

In my opinion the campaign is better, but not as epic as mw2's

If you mean the American Invasion parts as Epic, then I fully and whole-heartedly agree.

In bad company one, there was a weird glitch where the knife swing animation wouldn't take place, but you could still kill people, it would last for like a minute.

One time a friend and I were taking turns playing multiplayer when it happened, it was fun to just run up to an enemy sniper, point at his neck and yell "Force Choke!" then press the button and they would just fall over.

Does anyone know how to fix the mouse lag? I've turned off HBAO or w/e its called, mouse accleration, and reduced the max pre-rendered frames in Nvidia from 3 to 0. But there's still a .5 second delay in all of my mouse inputs. As of now, BC2 is unplayable.

For some reason it didn't work for me. You didn't have your melee button set to your mouse by any chance? I binded mine to V

It was set to Q at first, but then I changed it to my mouse later on.
