I was worried they wouldn't include the original characters, so yay for this.

Getting it now. The only thing that held me back from buying it, was that I thought they would introduce new characters in the sequel, and that they would remove the humor.

Pleasantly surprised.

Burger king? I don't get i-Oh, it's an advertisement.
It looks good, but I have a nasty feeling there's only going to be one map, two vehicles and like nine weapons and the rest you have to buy DLCs for.

Awefully pessimitic view you've got there! I'd like to think EA learned there lesson with BF2 and BF2142 that people won't pay for lots of minipacks.

Also, its almost certain to be over 10 different vehcles and a dozen maps (knowing DICE, they'll release devkits for PC so the PC gamers will see plenty of custom maps that may or may not get ported to the consul versions). Guns I don't really know, in the past there was basicly 2/3 guns for each of the 6 classes, but they did add on that with the expansion packs (which are now all free for anyone that has an old copy of BF2 lieing around).

As long as its not glitched and all the people that have and play BF:BC buy BC2 then im happy

Excellent. I'm loving the Beta so far. So glad I pre-ordered. The campaign is just a cherry on top for me, because I'm getting it for the multiplayer mostly.

What about it arn't you liking? And what platform you playing on ps3/pc?

I've found the gameplay pretty smooth as of the last beta patch on PC.

I think I heard that the dedicated servers wont allow players on the pc to mod becuase EA has control over the dedicated servers. I dont remember fully though what it said. it was an article once on the escapist. search it.
