Hey guys, I just got the game and its superb, I only have one issue. It lags, a lot. I can barely play the game, my internet is high speed so its not that. I read the EA is having server issues, is that the reason why it lags?

ummm If you have it for computer than it could be your frame rate. If not then Idk because I haven't had any connection problems so far and I have had it since the first day....

There have been several connection issues, but they're working on fixing it. The thing is, I've had absolutely no lag at all, just a couple of times when it connects and then dumps me on the Xbox dashboard for some reason.

Bad company 1 rarely had lag, but when it did it had laaaag. Hardcore, shut down the whole match lag. Haven't played the sequel much, but the beta was pretty unlaggy.

I heard there were server issues but don't ask me, i haven't got the game....YET. I should be getting it this week or next week sometime. Can't fucking wait.

I think they are fixed now. At first, I had trouble connecting and staying connected, but not any more, and the game never lags.

See, I liked the first one, but when I played the demo for two... The balance seemed off...

That's been happening to me too. I also have trouble finding games sometimes, and one time I couldn't even play online because of some connection error with my ea account..

brother got it today.

I was playing MW2 all day, then went to BC2.

got my Ass handed too me. you spawn right behind people, which is kinda stupid.

and as im writing this an advert for the game is on my TV! Lol.

i prefer MW2 but, it's not bad.

I agree it is a great game. And no lag ever for me (PS3) compared to MW2 which is full of it thanks to American hosts.

I'm definitely picking up BC2 when I have the cash. Since I'm going to buy it for the 360, I needn't worry about these apparently prevalent PC issues.

What version do you have? If it's on the PC then it could be your hardware having problems rather than your internet connection.

There was one, before the game was released. If your Pc however, has less than i7 and tomorrows set of graphic cards, than don't bother, because the framerate will go downhill.

I play the 360 version and it only lags very slightly (like half a second behind) at times but my connection isn't great so it should run seamlessly.

What is great about the game is it promotes teamplay and filling in niches, unlike modern warfare - medics need to do their job to keep teamates alive, recon has to spot threats and pick off enemies, engineer works on keeping your veichles alive and enemy ones dead and assault needs to clear the way and keep players supplied with ammo.

If you like teamplay this is a great game to get since it takes alot of teamwork to push enemies back, take bases and launch successful veichle assaults. The pace is a fair bit slower than the like of CoD etc which means you can take a breather at times instead of running and gunning all the time.

There's been very few issues with it for me, just mainly the community being dumb (a whole squad of snipers in a 4v4 game mode)

If you have friends and like to work in a team then you'll like this game, if you prefer lone wolf styles you could give this a miss.

NOTE: the server issues were fixed on 12th and 13th March so it's fine now
