As the title suggests, what is something that you do in real life that is a result of to much gaming?

For me; Left for Dead has caused me to close every door that i go through. I even have done it at school, which was actually kind of funny because I closed the door on my teacher.

Erm, I tend to swear more if i've been playing a particularly difficult game/mission, its usually stops after a while (usually about an hour or so) so its not a prolonged thing

Just the other day, I literally went over to a co-worker's desk because she had some glitter on it because I thought there must be something important there. Nope. She just spilled some glitter.

Well I am extremely edgy about noises behind me but I'm not sure if that is because of games. When I walk around late at night on the streets I look behind me every 30 odd seconds.

I sometimes run through hallways eating dots, looking for power pills so I can kill ghosts, hoping to find occasional fruit laying on the ground.

Lol Just don't let that pill addiction take hold... You've seen what it did to Pacman.. or Mrs Pacman or whatever he is now.

Yeah I tend to look around when I hear noises even if I know what it is. Also swear alot more than I did when I was younger...

Sounds like a regular weekend to me.

I sort of have a tendancy to unwittingly integrate features from games I've recently been playing into my everyday life. Most recent example is when I was breaking up some firewood and was horribly disappointed at how ineffective a crowbar is at performing said task. Gordon Freeman lied to me.

The bad habit I've got from video gaming is sitting on my arse in a dressing gown all day whilst playing video games. It's not good for my work....

EDIT: I just remembered a pseudo habit that I had from gaming. It was back in the glory days of Morrowind and the magical F5 quick save key. I used to just think "It doesn't matter if I fail my exams. I'll just load." I'd then remember that I couldn't do that and it always brought a downer on my day.

An overwhelming reliance upon ambient noise. Always listening to everything around me, all at once. Anything out of the ordinary and I start to get paranoid.

Aw man I do that as well, I'll forget that real life doesn't have a quicksave key. Morrowind is admittedly one of the worst for that.

As a huge Legend of Zelda fan i often find myself keeping loads of random junk on my person. Who knows, i might come across a situation where i cannot keep working because i don't have a freaking bottle cap.

i also find myself humming the song of storms when i see a dying plant

Well after playing oblivion i had a wakeup call when walking into a girl's locker room with a gray cowl on doesn't make you captain anonymous when you take it off.

Also, wow made me nerd rage against every little child i see.

And i actually work in a feckin' pre-school.

I'm incredibly compulsive about reloading. I can't even watch someone run about having forgotten to reload, I have to tell them

Looking at places and trying to figure out how you could turn it into an awesome FPS map for multiplayer. Seriously, all 3 hours I spent walking through the garden at Versaille, I kept thinking about cover points, sniper positions and ambushes. Seemed perfect for a King of the Hill game with a lot of players.

After playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky for a while I was very paranoid that real life would just BSoD on me. Every room I'd be cautious not to fuck anything up and cause to much stress on the system.

A comic did a joke about that game, "I've heard reports that games effect kids, that obviously isn't true ... if it was I would have been walking round in dark rooms, munching pills and listening to repetitive music" followed by look of shock and realization.

On topic. I find myself looking at any slight movement of anything out of the corner of my eye more.
