I'm a big fan of cheesy 80s action films like Judge Dredd, The Running Man (or for that matter, anything involving Arnie shouting one liners) and Robocop. Also they inspired great bad films for the following decades like Timecop and Soldier, and more recently Expendables 2 (but not the first one, I think it was trying too hard to not laugh at itself). They're the sort of films that you can just sit back, have a few beers and laugh at the absurdity of the dialogue or be amazed at how many props it is possible to blow up if you really put the effort in.

I'm not entirely sure where to put remakes like Dredd or Robocop. I really like them, but it's hard to tell if I like them for the same reasons, or because I actually think they're quite good. Here's hoping that Mad Max will be just as completely mental as the previous films.

I loved the first Ghost Rider and the Punisher film staring Thomas Jane, to bits. Despite the fact that they were critic bait.

Johnny Mnemonic. Sure, it's goofy, cheesy. But it was like the director just said; "Everyone...Chew, chew that scenery!" Everyone from Keanu Reeves to Udo Kier to Dolph Lundgren to Takeshi Kitano just ham it up like crazy.
"You can't...Shoot me." 'Not in the head'

GI JOE: Rise of Cobra. Yes, it's bad but it's fun fun fun. Channing Tatum is a charming lead and it feels like a Saturday morning cartoon unlike the second part which felt like a post-Miller comic take on GI JOE.
"It is time for the Cobra to...Riiise!"

Split Second. Yes, this is my favourite Bad Movie. Rutger Hauer as a badass Dirty Harry-esque cop fighting Satan? Yeeees please!
"So you get sex every night?" 'Oh yeah.' "Durkin...You disgust me."

Some of my favourite movies are films, a lot of people seem to think are bad or not very good, but they are no way, so poorly made as something like Birdemic ... and if you don't take any of them seriously they can be damn entertaining for their runtime and I personally can watch them anytime ...

These are : Deep Rising, Deep Blue Sea, and John Carpenter's : Vampires.

I have watched Batman & Robin four times. It is awful. But... there is something about Ice puns made by Arnold Schwarzenegger that make it so painfully good.
Oh yeah that one's a classic. I still have a VHS of it (more surprisingly, I still have a functioning VHS player. I'll convert it all eventually DONT JUDGE ME!). Some of the puns were also very educational! I mean really, who knew that it was the Ice Age that killed the dinosaurs?
.

One I saw fairly recently though was World War Z. I gotta give it some credit; they made an attempt at suspense horror and was pretty tense at times. However, when the zombies aren't massive CGI piles of bodies falling over themselves, they're absolutely frickin' hilarious. They move in such jerky motions I can't help but laugh at the hilarity of it. Especially the first guy who you see turn into a zombie, or the one stuck in an airplane seat.
This is also coming from someone who was unable to beat Gears of War 1 because I scare so easily I couldn't do the first berzerker fight (until 6 years later), I've had nightmares from horror movie COMMERCIALS, and I manged to scare the crap out of my friends while I was watching them play Dead Space 2 (because I can't play it) because of my screams at every little goddamn thing. The same friends who had beaten that and F.E.A.R multiple times. I also couldn't even get far enough in amnesia to encounter the monster before I began to seriously fear for the health of my heart.
.

Basically, someone who can't handle horror at ALL found World War Z, the movie, pretty damn funny. I'd say give it a look. And have a track of yakety sax ready to play for added hilarity, because damn if it isn't a perfect fit for some moments in that movie.

How the hell has no one mentioned the Wicker Man? I saw this on a flight and was laughing my ass off, especially during the whole "no not the bees" torture scene. I hope people didn't think I was a serial killer or something.

Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky

Seriously one of the funniest damn B-movies ever made. It's a Hong Kong film based on a Manga where the main character is so strong he literally punches through people. It's insanely gory and violent, but the special effects are so awful and the gore so fake it's hilarious.

Amongst other bizarre and hilarious things:
-It has a villain who looks like a giant Elvis impersonator named "Tarzan".
-The whole movie takes place in an all-male prison, yet one of the villains is clearly a woman with short hair, and no explanation is given as to why.
-One of the villains has a glass eye that he keeps mints in.
-Ricky is so tough that, after getting his arm cut, he ties the tendons back together WITH HIS TEETH.
-One of the villains transforms into a giant Ogre, with again, absolutely no explanation given.

Seriously, if you haven't seen it check it out, make sure to watch the dubbed version, as the awful dubbing makes it even funnier.
