Bad Old-skool Games

Okay, so a while back I was talking about how I dug up a few old-skool games and it was nice to have a game that was a challenge which also had a good story line. Now lets talk about the relay bad ones that you just want to forget about and that weren't worth your time, effort and money that you could have all spent on something different.

Well if we're going 'old school' I never really liked asteroids all that much and defender while not bad cost me way too many quarters.

When I say Old-Skool it's more something from your childhood or something from one your childhood. That could be anything from the Atari consoles to even as recent as something as the N64 at a push. Anything that is outdated but has that nostalgic value.

A lot of old school games are 'You had to be there when it was made' kind of games. I got my friend to play ffVII the other day, he hated it.

Yeah. I agree with the whole 'had to be there' thing. But there are still some Gems hidden out there under all the crap thats it's hidden under. I know I mentioned the N64 before. I know it ain't that retro but I have to say that Superman 64 is one of the WORST games I've played.

I used to love The Battle of Olympus for NES back in the days. A couple of months ago I had the chance to play it again at a friend's house and I must admit: not only has it aged poorly, it really wasn't a good game in the first place.
