Heroes of Might and Magic V. It essentially tried to base itself on the 3rd game rather than the 4th. In fact, the only thing it really seemed to take from game 4 were the balance problems. Not a terrible game, but pretty dissapointing as a successor to the series (then again, it was made by a different company).

Not a bad game, but not a patch on the first - and it was so messy. Damn you LA and your stupid holiday release!

Even if I liked the game, Oblivion.
If you read any of the interviews with the team during development, so much shit was either cut or bullshitted Peter Molyneux style about Oblivion and how it would have even more options than Morrowind.
Oblivion wishes it could be Morrowind.

Final Fantasy X-2

I was wondering how long it would take to suggest X-2. In some weird kind of reasoning I actually didn't mind it!

Me neither. It's got many issues, I won't deny that, but there were some good parts- the entire Crimson Squad subplot kept me playing, and those four were the only decent characters... (No prizes guessing where my username came from, now.)

worst sequel ever... no brainer, Final Fantasy 10-2. It was the Southerner Version of the Charlies Angels, where the main characters 1st cousin keeps wanting to have a chance with her... It was the first disgrace of the FF series, FF12 and 13 followed in suit. but they arn't sequels xD
